How to cut 3d models using Meshmixer (Patreon)
Content
As promised i have created a video for beginners on how to cut 3d models using free software called meshmixer and the plane cut function.
Lets call this one a pilot project. The idea is to mak a small series of such videos that will cover everything needed to prepare your 3d models for 3d printing (cutting, fixing, print settiongs, orientation etd....)
I know some of you will ask so let me give you an answer. The series will not cover stuff on how to make 3d models. There are youtube videos on that topic out there, and the techniques i use are self developed and are the very thing that sets my work apart from all the other out there, so i am not ready to share those “secrets” just yet as that would just benefit my competition more than myself while im trying to grow this community. So, time and place for everything :)
Now lets get back to the video - suggestions on what info about “3d print preparations” you need the most are very welcome as that will allow me to make the next video based on your needs. For now I will cover free softwares that are easy to use so its not gonna be an extra burden on your wallet :)
Another idea is to make these videos very short, and no BS striaght to the point, so you get the info you cae for. Hope i did that part right, but i am looking forward to your feedback :)
And as always, new 3d model will be uploaded soon :)
