Edit: Since the vast majority of people are fine with either style of image, and there are actually more people wanting full images than POV, I will be commissioning both types of images going forward. Thank you for your feedback.

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on the idea of using the new artist, positive or negative, it’s really helpful to know how you all feel about them. Naturally, not everyone will like the art style, and there is a potential issue with it clashing with the existing styles, but I think an 89% vote for using them is very good, so I will be reaching out to them shortly about working on the game further. I'll probably see if the artist can match the coloring style of pre-existing artwork to some degree, as that might help it clash a bit less, but in the end I would rather the artist draw what they are comfortable with than match things, as I think that would result in higher quality art overall.

Before I reach out to them though, I have another poll regarding artwork. So far, I’ve been using POV images and partial angles of the player, with the general goal of keeping their face out of view so that it lines up with the character you yourself created. Right now, the only thing that I have to assume in artwork is the skin color of the player, so as long as you use a light skin tone, the sex scenes should actively reflect your players appearance.

With the sample I presented in the last poll though, the fan who commissioned the piece didn’t go with a POV style, and ended up using the default appearance the player has when starting the game, which would give them blond hair and blue eyes. I would imagine this makes them not look like your player in a large number of cases, which could take away from immersion and your enjoyment of the artwork. So the question is, would you rather have full commissions of both the player and the character they are interacting with, or should I stick to only using angles that only shows part of the player to retain the ability to visualize your player being in the scene?
