Edit: Thank you to everyone who commented and voted in this poll, I have reached out to the artist, and they will be working on the game moving forward!

I recently had a fan of the game commission artwork for a favourite scene of theirs between Alexandra and the player, which they provided to me afterwards with permission to use in the game. I’m going to be adding this picture in, but I was also considering reaching out to the artist and seeing if they would like to work on the game further, to add another artist to the mix and get more drawn scenes into the game. I’ve reached the milestone where I was going to look for another artist anyways, so this is rather conveniently timed imo. You can see the commission below to gauge the quality of their art yourself, but I’m also going to quickly go through my impressions of them below.

Pros:

Speed: They seem to work extremely quickly. From start to finish, I think this commission took three days in total, which is much faster than the other artists I am working with, so I would hopefully be able to commission quite a few pieces from them per month. (I suspect it would depend on how many other commissions they have.)

Price: Their prices are similar to the two other artists I am working with right now, so I would actually be able to take advantage of their speed and commission several pieces of artwork per month without running out of funds.

Futa: They seem to only do futanari content, which can be a benefit because some artists are hesitant over that kind of content, and makes it pretty clear they would draw futa stuff well.

Cons:

Art Style: Their art style is a bit different from the current style of artwork used in the game, so it could be a bit jarring to have the style of artwork sort of flip flop throughout the game. I don’t think that’s really an issue if it means more art overall, but it’s worth mentioning.

Futa: They seem to only do art that contains futa, which limits the in-game content they could work on. I’m not sure how strict they are on that, because those futa characters are paired with female or male characters in some of their drawings, but I’m assuming they say futa only because that’s what they enjoy drawing the most. This isn’t a big deal, because there’s a decent amount of futa content to draw, but I do want to avoid having different artists working on the same character, so I probably wouldn’t want them to draw the futa scenes for otherwise female characters, like Beatrice and Daisy.

Other thoughts. This sample is obviously not done in a POV style, and fully illustrates the player using their default appearance in the character creator. I will make another poll later to ask for thoughts regarding this style compared to the POV style I have been using. The main issue is of course that your player might not look like the one depicted here in the slightest.

I don't mind futanari at all, a fast working, skilled and reliable artist truly is a find. I can understand you being exited about that part..... :( Personally though? I don't like that artstyle, my vote's a no. Call it personal preference if you like (all taste is?) At the end however? You're the boss of the project, no matter how we vote (advice)

I would check to see if they would do more then just futa. Futa is nice and all, but I for one would like more content then straight futa related stuff. But more importantly it sounds like this would limit the content you want to make in your game so...is it really worth that?

CrossdressinginCamelot

That is one of the things I plan to ask them if I reach out to them, but keep in mind the two other artists currently working on the game will continue to do so, so if this new artist is only interested in futa I can still get artwork done of other scenes.

Normally I would have voted yes, and this style is OK by itself, but I think it really clashes with the existing styles. I think it would be disconcerting to mix them.

The more art the better ^_^
