For the longest time I've researched what would be people's reactions to scenarios like I draw. I do this to get some kind of semblance of what they'd really do.

I find that there is a lot of commonality among normies, as to what their reaction would be if they changed genders suddenly or had a good friend or loved one change genders suddenly.

But I want to know what your guys' reaction would be to these kinds of situations.

I want to get a grasp on a variety of reactions so that I can better write interesting reactions for the characters.

And it might be fun to do a scenario where one of the people being changed secretly likes it.

I think you have the basic structure right for those who have this fantasy. Initial resistance to emasculation (very central to conventional male identity); but then slow succumbing to recessive desire for that exact thing: to 'let go' of power and control. This can manifest in various forms I guess; and there is a lot of literary erotica where this is a more graduated process. But the version you're selling here, I think--and that works very well in comic form--has a significant compulsory/forced aspect.

The way I've always seen it, the "Casual" reaction to a Gender Change is: 1.) Is this Real?: Is there anything about this situation that would lead me to believe it wasn't real, aside from the change of form? Is this a VR Experience? A Dream? Etc. 2.) If Real, Is this Change Permanent, or a Momentary Event?: Is there anything about this situation that would lead me to believe this Change can and will be quickly reverted? A stated Spell, Time-Limit, etc. If conditions are met for 1 and 2 that lead me to believe this is either a Not Real or a Time Limited Event, I may continue on to "Exploration Phase". If conditions are met for 1 and 2 that would lead me to believe this is Reality and a Permanent Event, I want nothing to do with this Form, and everything that could be experienced through it. If severe, enter a State of Rejection. Reject Reality, Reject Form, hold on to the "Old Truths", basically. So yeah, just because I've never wanted to be the opposite gender doesn't mean I wouldn't take an experience of being the opposite gender, but just because I would take an experience to be the opposite gender, doesn't mean I Want to be the opposite gender.
