[Preview] Upcoming 0.8.0 Features (Patreon)

Update 0.8.0, which releases this weekend, will introduce a new Key Feature which takes away your Armor Pieces and Weapons. 😱 The less you have of those, the lower the chance something will be taken away from you. This will result in exciting situations where you have to rethink your play style.

Furthermore, Prohibitions needed to complete a specific Temple will now be reverted and no longer be activated once you are in the specific Temple. This will remove situations where you simply have to wait to get back an ability that is needed for a specific puzzle! Note that not all abilities will be given back, but only the ones needed for the specific Temple, meaning that other prohibitions can still happen and make the Temple harder, but not impossible to beat!

Over hundred new Obtain Armor Piece goals have been added, and with that addition I also didn't hesitate to balance the chances for getting such. The general chance to obtain Armor Pieces is now higher and the chance to get Armor Pieces you have a goal for is now even higher to ensure no more 8 hour or more waits to finally complete your last goal.

Poes, Rupees, Hearty Bass, Chillfin Trout and Voltfin Trout have been added to the randomized drops pool. No idea how I didn't think about Poes and Rupees at first, those definitely make sense to drop! The other ones simply weren't there for unintended reasons. The chance to find Diamonds, Rubies, Sapphires and Topaz from the randomized drops has been decreased as well (they had an unintentional higher chance).

Also, all Meals are now in the randomized pool (46 have been added this update) and the 2 last remaining Meal effects (Gloom Resistance and Gloom Heart Healing) have been added as well!

Last but not least, the "How to" instruction windows for using Sage abilities and a few miscellaneous situations are no longer be displayed and a bug was fixed where the "How to" instruction windows (using Purah Pad, switching weapons, etc.) would always and multiple times be displayed on a vanilla save file that already got them before.
