My friends, you voted for an in-depth theory lesson on triads & arpeggios with a big focus on fretboard visualization - so that's exactly what I want to give you today :)

In this video, you will learn my personal visualization method from the basics (intervallic roadmap) to more advanced practice concepts and tips. If you haven't already, I highly suggest checking out the CAGED workbook and practice files I made for you!

You can learn more about how the CAGED system works here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/176-3-best-solo-52915479

This is one of the systems that will make navigating the fretboard much easier for you :) Other methods described in this video (like triad inversions and the right daily practice approach) will also make a huge difference and get you fast results.

Really hope this helps and answers some of your biggest questions, have an amazing weekend!

You are amazing. Clearly, out to help us. You mentioned you have a fretboard visualization course. Can you point to it with a link? Thank you 💝very much.

you can just put „fretboard“ into the search field above and voilà, there you are 😉

Bro yes please on a triad exercise! Thank you!

Can anyone share a link to the CAGED system video Bernth mentioned? Can't find it

I just don't understand when should you stroke up or down when reading tabs.

Definitely many of us play in non standard tuning. What is recommended in terms of notes visualization, learn fretboard of your favorite "drop X" tuning , or rather learn E standard notes positions and apply "shift" to get your actual note?

More exersises please!

I'd say learn the basic first, then it's just a matter of shifting a few notes mentally to get the actual note - i.e B on the fifth fret instead of D etc.

Yeah bro if you try and apply what is being taught from a guitar tuned to E to a different tuning you're just going to confuse the hell out of yourself.
