Hello everyone! Today's update has progress on Gallagher Mansion, Sleepy Time Jack, and Sunny Day Jack, so strap in for the ride!

The Groom of Gallagher Mansion Version 0.85

  • Heavy layout adjustments made to all Extras screens
  • Added all image galleries
  • Changed the background image for the Content Warnings, History and Research screen
  • Added the start of the Honeymoon Epilogue
  • Minor edits to Splash screens

We skipped over several versions after doing some intense internal testing, and now the Extras screen should be mostly functional, save for the placeholder Honeymoon epilogue. We noticed and fixed a few unlock conditions for the CGs after releasing this version, but we hope that you enjoy it nonetheless.

Sleepy Time Jack

  • Dialogue Selection Based on Clothing: Added code to choose dialogue based on the character's clothing. Initially over-engineered to include randomization because it was thought there were multiple choices.
  • UI Toggles for Clothing: Created placeholder toggles in the user interface to manually change clothing items like pants and shirts. Scripts control these toggles and their effects.
  • Timer Toggle: Added the option to enable or disable a timer for dialogue. Players can also click on Jack to initiate an interaction at any time, including during the timer.
  • Clothing and Timer Interaction: The clothing can be changed immediately or wait until the timer ends. Changing clothing or forcing dialogue disables further interactions to avoid accidental activation
  • Bug Fix for Phonemes: Resolved an issue where using the same game object for different phoneme choices led to activation and deactivation issues.

Sunny Day Jack

We've been a bit silent this month due to some internal restructuring, but we've come out of it with some major progress on the script! We've expanded our writing team to include Reece (VA of Barry from SDJ and Taylor from Gallagher Mansion) and TheChosenGiraffe (writer on Gallagher Mansion), and we're barrelling through the common route.

Nick: NO WAY! Ahh~! I'm such a big fan of your works!
Nick is enthusiastically shaking Shaun's hand. Worlds are colliding today, it seems.
Shaun scratches his head modestly, but I can tell that he’s enjoying the attention.
Shaun: Oh, stop it~ I'm just an indie movie maker. No big deal~
Nick: No big deal?! Aww man, wait until my friends hear about this! I've seen like, all your movies!
Nick: Dearest Departed, Tango of Treachery, The Groom of Gallagher Mansion–
Shaun: Oh GEEZ. Those are old.
Nick: I know, but I can't help it. It’s so hard to find movies that walk the line of sexy and terrifying–

Additionally, we've made significant progress on a certain route with a bit more spice in it than the others. We'd share a bit from there too, but it's a bit more spoilerific. We hope you're all excited for it nonetheless~
