Gallagher Mansion Report 02/02/23 (Patreon)

Happy Saturday, everyone! It's BáiYù with the weekly progress report, this time exclusively about The Groom of Gallagher Mansion. I know you've all been dying to learn more about our dear Elias, so please read on ahead!

Last weekend was more chaotic for me than I had anticipated due to some events outside my control, which unfortunately left me with less time to work on the scenes I assigned myself to do. To stick to the schedule as closely as we still reasonably can, we hired on TheChosenGiraffe to take over writing the remainder of my scenes. She's done an excellent job of knocking out several scenes in the span of 5 days for the rest of the team to edit.

Script Progress

The script has surpassed 20K words (it's 138 pages!) with help from TheChosenGiraffe's contributions, with the four endings left to write before we swing into heavy editing mode.

I've spent the whole night here but I have more questions than I have answers. So many loose ends and no way to tie them…

And yet, I'm about to tie the knot with a man I barely know while I have no idea if the other one will reach me in time.

I'm… so screwed.

Elias: Y/N, my love? What's on your mind?

Y/N: Nothing! Uh, I mean—

Hah, I really am a bad actor in the end.

Y/N: I must be feeling the whole range of human emotion right now, my beloved. Nervous, excited…

And so, so full of dread.

We expect that the first draft will be completed by no later than next Saturday for the next Dev Update.

Programming Progress

As shown above, we've started a project in the Unity editor to load the existing assets into. There's not much we can say about it for the time being, but we hope to show more next week!
