I'd be down if you guys did a "Press play at the same time" commentary track for the new Dungeons and Dragons movie. That way you are simply something to play along side the movie. I see many commentary channels do that. This movie has been a blast.

You know what I don't enjoy? People talking while I'm trying to watch a movie. I don't want to be a dick. Its only.... I pay for a Dungeons and Dragons podcast. Tabletop related stuff is fine but If I wanted to hang with some people and watch a movie I would.

Anthony paraphrasing the Time Warp such an unexpected delight. The TV Tropes Trivia page for this something of a wild ride (e.g. y'all were right, multiple writers, script was cobbled together from various approved ones over the previous years).

When snails dies and they keep saying his name in a serious scene is a great representation of when a player names their character something stupid but everyone has to rp emotional scenes with said name. Rip to Dick Smasher in one of our campaigns.

This is my favorite bonus so far guys. I wish the movie was a little louder (maybe that would drown out your audio) I could never hear what was going on in the movie (I listen to these while working on cars). Would love more of this. I’ve grown to respect y’all opinions on things like this and I would probably pay a higher Patreon tier to get more of this.

While I obviously recognize the flaws and especially the extremely problematic tropes by now, I LOVED this movie as a preteen xDDD I still have a bunch of drawings of staffs that I designed, that could control other kinds of fantasy creatures... xDD I absolutely LOVED this, one of the best mbics!!!! I missed the ones where you commented on buffy and Bones, I would love to see more commentary again, especially with face cam! (also gladly "press play at the same time" if its for riskier stuff)

My only gripe with that movie is that her father died when she was a child, but she invokes his training in that badass scene. I can only assume that she hid a blade or two from Morticia Addams (Anjelica Houston), and practiced with them everyday. But! We have to keep that all off screen for some reason.

the first time i watched this i thought there was gonna be a twist where marina was evil the whole time, cause she was damseling HARD in this movie. i also gave up watching after snails got stabbed and thrown, cause i was genuinely sobbing which seems insane rewatching the scene now lol

Jeremy Irons is pulling double duty as a daddy and zaddy in this movie. My favorite piece of Jeremy Irons’ lore is that he signed on to do Eragon—an equally bad movie—because he wanted to ride horses. Chaotic good?
