went back to episode 2 to see if they actually did it and my husband and I laughed so hard we immediately became patrons. I love this ridiculous podcast

I think Darrell could have unintentionally Primered himself. Therefore... *There could be two Darrells as Darrell 2 would have no need to go back in time. Darrell 1 would enter the Chonkie's to see Darrell2 and the dads receive the corrected bracelets. *Both Darrell 1 and the remote are connected to the original timeline. Therefore, Darrel 1 would continue to exist even though Darrell 2 doesn't go back in time. Also, as it is a wondrous item with time travel powers, the remote would lose the charge for casting the spell in the corrected timeline. *Darrell 2 could have just spent the rest of his years at the tavern and inn, never interacting with Darrell 2 and the dads again as Darrell 2 would fulfill that roll. *Would the dads resent Darrell 2 for not warning them of all the poor choices they make? For instance, Darrell 1 could have warned them of the pyramid, Scam Likely taking the jewels, the Library killing Erin, and Glenn's trial. The dads could very well blame Darrell 2 for Darrell 1 not forewarning them when he had the chance. Sorry. Time travel stories spark that theoretical part of my brain. All this is really minor considering my takes on Back to the Future. Nevertheless, the mechanics of time travel are solely dependent on what Anthony allows. As such, Darrell 2 doesn't seem to be an issue. He simply disappears just before Darrel 1 reunites with the dads, even though there would be no reason - or ability - to send him back in time.
