If I’m remembering correctly, they basically just cut the episode between Darryl saying “okay” and “cool, so we got the bracelets, and put the new scene in between that. I don’t think they cut out anything, and if they did, it wasn’t much more than them confirming that they were going to write what they originally decided on.

As much as I adored that twist, I have to ask as an audiovisual archivist by trade: do we still have access to the original episode 2 here on Patreon? I’ve seen too many horror stories with radio & tv where the original versions of episodes are lost and I’d love to have a copy of the complete initial broadcast run of my favorite podcast (in addition to the mind blowing edit naturally).
