This whole thing started Father's Day, 2018, when Anthony and I (Freddie, btw) were tooling around Phoenix in a rental car and joking about how D&D archetypes basically line up 1:1 with dad archetypes. We had the thought of maybe getting some friends together, and doing a podcast called Dungeons and Daddies (and we immediately realized that if we named it that we would definitely need to clarify that it isn't a BDSM podcast). It would be a lot of work, and would be a pretty big time commitment from everyone.

We launched without a real clear idea of how we would support the show. But then, you stepped in (and stepped up!) by materially supporting us, which means you're automatically a better, more compassionate, more empathetic, and probably more handsome human being than all the rest of those freeloaders!

In all seriousness - we know firsthand how rare it is to find somebody who decides to make the leap from passive consumer to an active supporter. Simply put, people like you make creativity possible - and that's a wonderful thing.

So for that - thank you, and we hope that you will enjoy our little show that much more, now that you know that we wouldn't be doing it without you.

When do I get my Patreon merch?
After three months of pledging EX-L, Touring, and Elite patrons receive a piece of Patreon merch! EX-L Model patrons receive a #1 Dad D20 sticker.
