Since celebration of the new year is typically associated with a fresh start, I felt like a shower set was an appropriate theme for this one. I've never truly felt like a new year was any kind of 'reboot' or new beginning really. Tomorrow will carry on the same as yesterday. But I do think we all need to be occasionally reminded to take a step back and reflect on what we've accomplished or overcome in the year behind us, and also contemplate all of the things ahead of us to look forward to. That's why I decided to photograph myself getting ready for tonight's festivities that will honor the past and welcome what's next. What're you ready for?
