Hey everyone, LoafyLemon here again!

I hope y'all are having a fantastic week so far. Today, I wanted to dive into something that has been giving me quite the headache - drawing feet! Can someone tell me why they are such a pain to get right? Seriously, it feels like trying to solve a complex maths problem every single time!

Anyway, today's Dev-Dump is centred around one particular piece featuring our dear Luna Lovegood. In this scene, she's in a rather compromising position, pushing her legs and feet high up in the air while spreading herself wide open. Now, this may sound simple enough, but trust me, it was anything but easy.

The struggle began when I had to tackle those pesky feet. Feet, man, they really do have minds of their own! They never seem to cooperate, do they? It took me ages to nail down the perfect pose, which resulted in several discarded sketches.

But hey, no need to feel sorry for me. After all, isn't that what we artists signed up for? To push ourselves outside our comfort zones and learn through trial and error? So yes, while my patience might be wearing thin, I am determined to conquer this foot-drawing conundrum once and for all!

On a lighter note, here's a sneaky peak of the lovely Ms Lovegood in action from another angle that (thankfully!) doesn't show her feet. Enjoy!

There are famous professional artists who have spent years drawing comics. They are still unable to draw feet. Drawing feet is harder than drawing someone from the front. I think you did pretty damn well so far.

I have the same issue but with hands

Thanks for the kind words! I don't have talent for drawing feet, that's for sure, but I'm persistent. :) -L

I feel that. It took me close to a year to fully grasp the basics of a human hand, though I still cannot get it perfect not on first, not on second try even. Practice makes perfect, you'll get there! -L
