Looks awesome. I actually prefer the art on page 1 more than on the cover. Daenerys looked a bit too cartoonish. She looks more "proportionate" here on page 1.

Yeah I wanted to keep buildup to a minimum and get right to the action on this — I originally envisioned it being much shorter but it became a 20 page story very quickly

Subjectivity

Now that it's out, it feels even harder waiting for more! I love that she starts out on her throne, appearing to be the one in the position of power, but even on the first page, Kumonga points out the civil wars going on around her, exposing the fragility of her power, already chipping away at her confidence and authority as he confronts her, setting the foundation to dominate her. The dialog is just as important as the art in a psychological battle like this, and that was a great start! Also an excellent point in the timeline, when several powerful women were fighting for control... and those Daughters of Dorn I mentioned are probably still alive, allied with Daenerys. No pressure, but I do enjoy the many possibilities of this new world!
