Hi, guys!

I have some exciting reveals for you today!

First off - let me share with you some general information on the WCS competition.

Generally, WCS is more like a cultural thing intertwined with lots of cosplay. It is the perfect event to meet new people from all over the world, and Japan ( of course). We will be staying in Japan for a week and a half, during the event. The competition itself is 2 days, but we still have some duties as representatives - we have to meet local people, and their ministers of culture and tourism in the different states and promote the World Cosplay Summit wherever we go.

They are also kind enough to organize for all of us a few trips and let us go sightseeing for a day or 2.

When it comes to costumes - the typical requirements of the competitions are:

* The costumes chosen need to be from a Japanese title.
* we can choose to compete in the video division with different costumes than the ones selected for the stage
* we are required to bring at least 3 more costumes for the other events, held by the organization.

So in short, I will have a fun time creating costumes for next year.

And now the reveal! Drum rolll .....

The extra costumes we have chosen to wear at WCS are:

* Belle and the Dragon for the video division
* David Martinez and Lucy from Cyberpunk Edgerunners
* Mario and Luigi from Super Mario
* Loid and Yor Forger from SpyxFamily

The funny thing is that there is a promotional corner held by Nintendo at the airport, and there is a set that recreates the environment from Super Mario. As a huge Mario fan, I will not be missing this opportunity and I will be sure to take a photo in a Mario cosplay there!

We chose lighter costumes for this trip as the weather in Japan is extremely hot during that time of the year and would love to avoid any heatstrokes.

Most of the events and held indoors but there are quite a few that are located outside and we have to spend the whole day under the sun.
