Hot on the tail of last week's X1, we now have Beta 9 X2!

There are no significant changes, mostly some bug fixes and small adjustments here and there, but it's good to switch over as soon as possible so that your scoresheets in particular take advantage of all the changes I made there as that system becomes finalized, so we can look at them and see what else might need changed or added.

On that note, in the attached archive you can check out some of the Beta 9 X1 scoresheets that were submitted so far, if you want to see what some other runs look like while we don't have leaderboards for this. (Ignore the fact that there are some '+' characters missing inside--the scoresheet doesn't encode those when uploading under the current system, but that won't matter under the new database.)

X1 saves are not compatible with X2, so consider first finishing up any in-progress run.

On Steam, Beta 9 X2 is located on the new beta branch "beta9wizardrytest2," or if you don't have Steam and need the DRM-free version, send me an email at gridsagegames@gmail.com.

For Steam players, remember that if you switch to the new branch to play, and then later switch back to an old/main branch to play again, you may lose some newer Beta 9 meta data that doesn't apply in an older version.

I'll probably be doing some more early prereleases later, but this might be the last one for a while now that it's pretty stable.

Note for Wizards: Wizard mode does not yet work in this version. I'll be releasing that update at a later time, along with some new wizard features.

The new scoresheet looks nice :D. One thing I noticed, for Slots Evolved, it credits it to the floor you're leaving instead of the one you're entering; I would've expected the latter.

Ah yeah, didn't notice that. There are probably still other things in there no one's noticed yet--waiting for more discoveries! I've browsed sheets and fixed or updated a bunch of stuff over the past couple weeks, but it's a lot of changes so I imagine there have got to be more in there...
