0.4 Development Update 7 (Patreon)

Hey, folks.

Let’s start with the elephant in the room. Yes, the v0.4.1 alpha was not ready on time again. I understand that this must be frustrating for you. I am sorry.

From now on I will at the very least try to stop setting unrealistic expectations. I keep thinking “well, this time I’ll get this update done super quick”, and it seems that I just can’t do that. So, I’m not going to pretend like I will get v0.4.2 out in one week, expect it no sooner than in two weeks.

Report for last week. Last Saturday I hit a writer’s block of sorts. It's not like I’m much of a writer, so don't know if I should call it that, but I just couldn’t do anything productive, kept going over the text, trying different angles for the event shots, ultimately, almost nothing was done. Did the CG set on Sunday, as usual, planned to dedicate at least a few hours to the game proper, but the set took all day. 

On Monday I wasted half the day on dealing with my bank, but at least I finally properly finished the second event in the update, finished the third one on Tuesday, Wednesday was for rendering Rae’s animations, fixing minor issues and building the releases till early in the morning of Thursday. Got a bit of sleep, had another go at last month’s custom CGs. 

Then today happened, almost finished another event, tomorrow will render the remaining shots and animations for another side sex scene. From there on out I will move to v0.4.2. Don’t have proper outlines yet, but the general plan is 3 or 4 new events, including the first lewd one with Lyriel. At least one of those events will use a new-ish fantasy location, so I’m cautious with promising more.
