Hey everyone!

This is the Outer Court of the Palace. We plan to make the Inner Court connect to that bridge at the top. At the top of the Inner Court will sit the Royal Throne Room. This is for everyone that was asking for a more dungeon-like area to accompany that map.

This is largely inspired by English royal courts such as Hampton Court Palace. That might help if you want some inspiration when using this. :)

The Outer Court is spread over three floors and is protected by a moat. Most of the rooms here are for servents, guards and riffraff guests who aren't allowed into the Inner Court (like lowly lords and ladies). As you go further into the court things will become fancier and only certain courtiers will be able to enter. But the Outer Court might be a good place to disguise yourself as part of the staff or get gossip on the royals or assassinate a dignitary passing through... However you use it, we hope you like it!

Oh, there's two variants I can easily use in my upcoming Dark Heresy campaign! Wonderful work!

Very good !

And just like that I feel more confident about using Lorsmarch Palace in Stormreach prominently in my campaign. :) Thanks CzePeku!

Hate to ask... and I know the answer is probably no, but... might there be an upcoming variant with the roofs? So action could take place in the courtyard?

The wizard in my game has his retirement plan all figured out in that he wants to run a bed and breakfast using Magnificent Mansion, and this is pretty much exactly what he described. Perhaps his retirement won't be as peaceful as he first imagined...... 😈

I’m new. How do you dm a map where different PCs are on different levels?

I don't think there's a set answer for this but depending on your VTT you can have multiple maps open at once. This would be a good question to ask on our Discord though, i'm sure you'd get lots of suggestions/opinions!

If you're using Foundry-VTT, on each map that is not the main "Active" map, you can "pull" the PC to it. That will leave the Active map displayed on other screens while the player who is exploring a different area will see the map they are on.
