Hey everyone!

Deep in the Astral Plane, beyond space and time, the gaps between of nothingness opens into a vastness and there in that infinity lies the graveyard of the gods. Turned to ice and rock after millennia of sleep within the empty astral wastes, the broken astral gods float in their slumber, careening into one another, crumbling into space dust.

This map was made in collaboration with our good friend Zhillustrator! You maybe remember our other collaborations such as The Beholder God, Mechanical Palace and Celestial Realm.

If you like these style of maps and want to see more amazing paintings by Zhillustrator check out these links:

In case some of you are wondering just how to take your party to the Astral Realm, we made a portal that leads directly to this map in our Opulent Ballroom variations. Or you could hop on a Spelljammer!

Coming soon will be an adventure for this map which we're working on with the folks over at Stillfleet. If you're interested in seeing a new rpg spin on sci-fi games, check that out!

This has been a tough month for us so we're glad to have had the help with this map from Zhillustrator (go support him!). We only released three maps this month but we'll be back in April with the Observatory Interior and hopefully some Airships and more Underdark maps. See you next month!

This turned out nicely. Good work!

Amazing! I may have to redo my session from 3 weeks ago where the party traveled to the astral plane to stop rival factions from retrieving the heart of Aoskar, the long dead God of portals. I used a map that was nowhere near as perfect as this one!

Hum, a corpse with a grid. I am sorry, but i am not really fan of this kind of ""map"". :/

Unwated Arcana

Amazing. Now which to I use next time I cast banish on a party member...

Really impressed with the variants this time, love the ice one.

Jenn

Oh my god these are gorgeous! Amazing, so spooky and has the same vast feeling as space

Atieno

Amazing work... not really my taste as I don’t really event understand what bits players would be walking on, however I think it’s an excellent map for those who can work out how to use it.

I needed this so much! God that is beautiful!

Ooh this is perfect. I'm running Tomb of Annihilation and I've retconned the atropal as being a regrown piece of the dead god of rot and corruption, Moander, that the true villain Acererak and the Sewn Sisters night hag coven are creating. I knew I wanted to reframe the finale of the campaign some way, and this is just the map I need. Fantastic work.

This is perfect for some higher level planes hopping and lore dropping. I love it! More of this fantastic stuff please!

Well there's plenty of other maps in our catalogue. They can't all make everyone happy.

I'd suggest either using a spelljammer or an airship and flying through the map. Or traversing across the rocks and body of the deity itself, like a giant landmass. The Astral Plane is meant to be abstract so hopefully we captured that well.

Rainer Kellers

Not my taste and definately not useful for our gaming style. Ah well, most people seem to like it. ;-)

Andrew Harvey

hey i cant fine your arena maps (like my old file) can someone link it for me?

Nix & Checkers

Honestly, I think it's rather cool, and the variations give me a fair few ideas for how it could be used. I'm glad you take big swings like this sometimes

WOOOOOOOOOW!!!

This INSANE. In the best way. Dead gods in the astral plane is something I've known about, but I've never seen it portrayed this raw before.

czepeku

Glad you like it! Its something we've been wanting to portray for a while. Definitely a hard theme to find maps for.

I love these so much. Can't wait to use them in-game
