You might think as it is the night of Halloween that we're putting out a Halloween map... but actually we're just really behind on our schedule (although we still somehow made 22 variations...). We wanted to release this before October was over and we hope you enjoy this final October map as well as all your halloween shenanigans. :3

We've been planning on making a Medusa themed map like this since we started this Patreon and decided to finally get around to it. Cze is currently living in Greece and it just seemed like the impetus we needed to explore this theme.

We wanted to make a map that evoked the sun blazed acid plains of the Meditteranean coast as well as a battle frozen in rock by the Gorgon's petrifying gaze. Climb your way up the cloak and body of the petrified titan across their craggy sword and onto the scorched clifftops beyond. Behold soldiers mid battle frozen forever in place.

Thanks a lot to Paulo of Aanry's Book for their help with this map. Definitely go and check out their new patreon. They're making new in-depth monsters for DnD 5e each month.

Next month we hope to finish the Shadowfell Fortress Interior, Dracolich won the next dragon poll so we'll be working on that, we also plan to release some new Lightning Rail carriages soon as well as the carriage roofs along with them, as that's been requested a bunch. See you next month! :)

This is perfect. Thank you

Absolutely love these but I really need you to make some map extensions. My players fall off the sides of these maps so easily and when I quickly draw additions it always looks like crap next to your stuff. The reason dungeons work so well is that the players are constrained by the walls . I need more dungeon spaces! These outdoor maps are beautiful but I can only use them so many times.

The problem with extending a map is that then there's a new border. There'll always been an edge players can wander off even if the maps were 1000x1000. We could make more canyons and rivers to block in the characters but that restrains the style and locations of the maps a lot. We see it as the DM's responsibility to be able to describe what's happening outside of the maps and find ways of drawing the players away from the edge.

Is there any way you have the assets for the statues lying around still? I'd really like for the medusa to be able to animate them and attack!
