Hey everyone!

It was our turn to finally take the cartographic rite of passage by creating our very own crossroads map. Why? Well we wanted to test ourselves and see how well we could make a boring theme interesting and give our own style and flair to it. Hopefully you all think we succeeded!

We made a mountainous 32 variations for this map! So there'll be lots of interesting maps for you to use now on those long roads from village to village (some are downright silly).

We wanted to thank everyone who has posted their maps-in-use on our new reddit. It's always heart warming seeing people actually using the maps we spend so long making, so please share your photos and screenshots if you haven't already. :)

Oh and we're thinking of hosting another map remixing contest and we want ideas for prizes, let us know what RPG merch you'd like in the comments!

We'll be back soon with the Shadowfell Fortress, a Medusa Map and some fun halloween content for you all.

Incredible you took a boring idea and made beautiful maps... Not just one but 30+ and each feel different!

Awesome work! :D Maybe a city crossroad would be awesome

This is amazing and something a lot of pateron mappers lack! i wouldn't mind like, 4 more road/street connections of this, plus a city street/mountain/seaside/desert version. There are so many fantastic set piece maps and i LOVE those, but a lot of adventuring is done in random encounters on the road, and those maps are few and far between, usualy ugly and lack character and environmental features. FANTASTIC JOB.

Wow! I appreciate "common situations" maps being thrown into the mix. Some maps I just adore... but can't pull them out unless I spend time guiding the party into an epic/specific situation. I am simply in love your artistic styles and creativity, and eat it all up. Thank you!

Completely agree! I actually could use some more common situation maps. This one is great!

I had a good laugh at "we should definitely take the other road". Would love to see more "on the road" style maps to use as random encounter maps when the party is travelling.
