I'm pretty sure that ship in the sky at the end was Lunaris's ship continuing its orbit around earth. Also, not sure if you picked it up or not, but there was a hilarious joke with the scene where they were feeding the seagulls popcorn and Penny looking between them and the kids looking way confused, basically mirroring how the audience feels about how there's normal birds in this show but also birds like the Duck family that walk and talk like people.

This episode had some choice moments, like the scene where Webby and Dewey are feeding the ducks. SO funny! and fun fact: Timmy Jinkins was played by the same VA as Dewey and I think that makes it even funnier xD

If you were wondering, yes, the "earth male" line DOES mean that Penumbra is a lesbian! While they weren't allowed to say so in the episode [you know how Disney is], Sam King, crew member of the show and writer of this episode, confirmed it on Twitter. After the show's finale aired, Sam also posted that she'd always seen Penumbra and Della as a couple, and posted a dozen drawings she had of them.
