Focused on a rustic theme, Archaic brings a fresh and realistic look at the same time. With realistic and cartoony textures, it brings a new vibe, keeping the original colors of the game.

Archaic is made entirely digitally (no photogrammetry), using Substance Designer, with only inspirations from different real-life surfaces, to bring the textures a unique visual style.

Sorry, I replied to this comment thinking it was referring to ModernArch, which has been updated to 1.19.3. Archaic will only be updated to the new version next week

ok just once i downloaded the archaic1024x windows defender detects a trojan and deletes it but the archaic 512x seems fine

I'm so happy your kinda continuing 8n the footsteps of southcraft!! I know I was like the only one who liked it LoL, bit I 0aured well with your mainstay, and also happened to contain several commonly used blocks in hypixel! Hypixel's visual appeal grew rather boring quickly, which is too bad considering the fun that that ANCIENT server holds... It's like circa 1.8 or something, right? Cheers! Can't wait to see where this goes! -a loyal fan.

I'm glad you liked it! This resource pack is practically Southcraft, but with higher resolution. I plan to make as many updates to it as ModernArch. It is more focused on vegetation and outdoor areas while ModernArch has a more modern design for interiors.

Full disclosure, I've not run any of it, as I'm at the tail end of my development process with the Deep Integration LED Array, and my main PC will be treated to a full wipe & reinstall... Soo many weird issues have crept up with win11, it's beyond bandaiding now - which ive been doing for MONTHS to keep her afloat. She needs a clean install, and I don't need the time consuming bugs & errors accelerating my aging process any longer, 😂

Is there a way that you can make it work with forge because it seems for me not to work unless I turn off connected textures also this looks incredible

It works with Forge, except for version 1.19, because Optifine is in preview and is not yet compatible with Forge.

The link for the v1.18 download seems to be incorrect. It seems like its the same link as for the v1.19 file.

For the life of me i cant get this texture pack to display. it must be something simple. im a paid memeber. at your convince contact me with some help. either here, or brandonpenely.com i generally know what im doing. c++ is my primary language. tired of trying this over and over . there must be a simple solution
