Here comes the Garro vs Motarion diorama hot off the press!

I mentioned this briefly before but one of the most recent additions to the Horus Heresy series was Garro's final confrontation with his traitor Primarch.  Mortarion offered Garro a place back in the Legion but like any true servant of the Emperor, he refused.  

Angry at his defiance, Mortarion decided to have Garro possessed by the Lord of Flies which is a recurring Daemon in the series.  Obviously a fight between a Space Marine and a Daemon Primarch is completely unfair so the fight was really just a cat toying with his food for awhile.  But with some help from Euphrati Keeler, the first Imperial Saint, Garro held out long enough for her to get away.  

Eventually Garro was impaled by Mortarion's scythe.  But through the power of faith, Garro got to spit in his traitor Primarch's face one last time and shoved his broken sword into Mortarion's throat before dying.  Big E was so impressed by this, He personally showed up to shake Garro's hand and usher him into His Cheese Legion.  The Emperor Protects! 👍

All in all, that was a great sendoff for a beloved Horus Heresy character.  In 30K/40K, the best anyone can hope for is to go out on their own terms.  I'd say Garro got the best kind of ending while joining a very exclusive club of Loyalist Space Marines that got to give their traitor Primarch the middle finger.  

I couldn't decide which orientation was best for Mortarion's scythe.  So I'll just provide options for both of them.  

Some more pose updates for Ghazghkull, Serra and Boneripper as well and an alternate skin.  Like I said before, the Orks and Ghaz haven't exactly been given a lot of respect in the storylines recently.  Last time I checked Ghaz had his head cut off by Ragnar Blackmane (not fatal though) and the Orks lost the Octarius War.  Well, ignore all that, green is best!  I don't care how much plot armour a Space Marine has, Ghaz should easily be able to wipe out any of them, loyalist or traitor alike. 😉 But seriously, someone needs to throw Ghaz a bone in the main storyline.
