Something Old, Something New (Sci Fi WIP) (Patreon)

Hello!

First Sci Fi WIP of the month is here!  First up is Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn.  Admittedly, I know nothing about the game series.  I do like the concept of the setting though, a post-apocalyptic world where colossal machines dominate the land while humanity has regressed to a tribal state.  And besides, a game with robot dinosaurs has to be awesome!  I also find Aloy's character design quite unique.  The hunter gatherer aesthetic juxtaposed with advanced technology is a really refreshing change, great stuff! 👍  I was thinking of giving Aloy a tribal sci fi mask as well, that would be pretty cool.  

Ah, now the Doom series, I'm much more familiar with (I mean, who isn't?).  Played up to Doom 3 and I've been meaning to catch up with the series for awhile.  I was a little surprised that they suddenly gave the Doom Slayer an in depth backstory during the latest reboot.  For me the formula is simple, there are demons - go kill them.  Everything else is just window dressing.  Still, I do think the Doom Slayer in his modern Praetor Suit is the best he's ever looked.  Now I'm pretty stoked for him to go head to head with Dark Lord.  It's going to be a slaughterfest!  

Speaking of which, still working on the Dark Lord and the Sardaukar suit.  Will show them when they become more fleshed out.  Stay tuned!
