Hello!

Pose updates are here and let's start with Arthas! I definitely think he's one of the memorable villains because his journey in becoming the Lich King is compelling and relatable. He started off as a promising paladin but to stop a plague of undeath, he resorted to more extreme measures, going full Ahab and eventually taking up the cursed runeblade Frostmourne. This led to a further path of vile deeds and he eventually became the very thing that he sought to destroy. One of his most infamous moments is when he confronts his old mentor Uther the Lightbringer and callously slays him to retrieve a special urn. It was a really memorable sequence and whoever wrote that dialogue exchange between Arthas and Uther about said urn deserved a raise.

So yes, a great villain that deserves to be remembered in this barren landscape of neutered antagonists. In my book, he's statistically more successful than Horus and Darth Vader combined since he ended up killing his father and his mentor in combat. I also think the pointing pose works pretty well with this type of character, since the Lich King is supposed to be able to command the entire Scourged army.

Got the pose updates for Artorias and Sif as well. The major takeaway I got back from the last WIP was Artorias wasn't gangly enough so I went ahead and fixed that. Like Artorias, the Sif pose I found looked pretty cool so I kept it more or less consistent. I'll include the option to have the sword in his jaw.

Still working on frisky Laurie but her pose is getting there. I'll probably show her WIP as a public preview alongside Arthas in the next few days. After that comes the Sci Fi Alternative poll! If anyone has a suggestion, please add it within the week. Thanks!

Haha that's brutal. I love it.

God I can't wait to print that Artorias. Although I don't know what image you're using as reference for Sif but I don't remember ever seeing him on rocks like that, just the grave

omg you are keeping to blow me away

That is freaking fantastic, the only criticism I have is of the lich kings fabrics looking too clean or prestine. Perhaps a version with more tattered fabrics towards the bottom as if to suggest him aging into the role. That aside, these look great. Keep up the good work.

I'm loving the Warcraft theme!! So wish there were more 3D files for them, sadly there aren't. Duratan, Brom, Gul-Dan would be sick!! Maybe Mannaroth? Illidan? I could go on and on lol. For the Horde!!! The sculps looks great too! Looking good so far!

first of all: great work. Second i must admit that (probably because of the recently departed) i was looking at your version of the unhelmed king of the fae from Berserk having decapitated the smith. Then i read the description.
😂👍💖

Wonderful work! Yes, the original Artorias is more slender. I wonder if you will make a full-glory version Artorias

Thanks! 👍 I'm not familiar with the King of Fae, but I'm guessing he's not a nice chap. 😄

The sculpt is fantastic and really tells a story - it really makes me want to know how he got to that decapitation.

Thanks, that's what I was going for. 😄 His storyline is in Warcraft 3 and the expansion Frozen Throne.
