The first Grimdark WIP of the month is upon us!

The majority of Grimdark WIP content are not on Patreon anymore.  But community members can still access the all the content as mentioned in previous posts.  Just to be thorough, community members will receive an email with the access information as well.

Please leave any comments/feedback/reactions on this post like you would normally do.

So normally for each character, I like to do a detailed breakdown. But those take awhile to write up and I really want to get some of the other Grimdark stuff off the ground for this month. So I'll have those summaries available in a bit.

But for HH fans, I will mention that once I have all the appropriate proxies done I'll make a special diorama of Corax re-arranging Lorgar's organs (i.e. beating the ever loving stuffing out of him). I'm not even going to have a vote for it, it's just going to happen. GoT fans have a gif of Tyrion slapping Joffrey over and over again so the loyalists deserve that sort of Grimdark catharsis. 😈

Wargear wise, the Ravenlord will get all the items he's famous for and some different options for lightning claws and wing designs. And I also wanted to give him a bearded look to get that John Wick vibe because Corax is badass. Like he drew the shortest straw in the Horus Heresy and is still alive and kicking back with a vengeance. Now Corax might currently be the most OP Primarch in the setting which I'll elaborate on in the future.

I'm still working out some details for the GOAT but I'm not going to deviate too broadly from the standard templar outfit because historically, there's only one way a templar looks. But I will provide a variety of cross designs and you will have the option to kitbash fist iconography if you want. And in my Fantasy Casting Segment (which is now a thing), I spent some time thinking who would be a good choice to play Sigismund. I got some great suggestions like Dean Norris who I didn't realize looks eerily similar to the official art until recently.

But I decided to go with Mark Strong who I think has that silent intensity the First Captain is so famous for. This is especially funny because Mr. Strong is an Ultramarines actor. But as you may recall, Titus was so Codex Un-Compliant, a Codex fanboy called him out and they had to replace the voice actor. 😅 Not cool, Leandros. I hope Guilliman sent you on permanent Chapter exchange with the Space Wolves for being a snitch.😠Hey, has anyone else noticed all the smurf tattletales have names that being with 'L'? I wonder if that means something. 🤔

Anyways, you pretty much play as a Black Templar in Space Marine (all the game mechanics are geared towards their style of warfare) and it looks like that's how you'll play in the sequel as well. Plus I think a lot of players actually mod Space Marine with Black Templar skins to roleplay as one in the game so going with Mr. Strong is pretty appropriate now that I think about it. 😄
