 Originally Muscone only knew how to use a Musk Blast, which is a smell that only him can muster. He can mark an area and it'll be stinky for hours!

 However after snatching Lorenzo he gained incredible insight on molecules and how smells work, and is able to create very distinct smells. This made him believe that he always can be much more than what he believes he is able to be!
