Production Notebook - 9/17/20 (Patreon)

I've been wading through reference material since the beginning of the year. Compartmentalizing it into categories. Deleting stuff I don't need. And most importantly, reducing how much I collect on a regular basis. 

When I re-designed Chad from Jockstrap Academy, I did it mostly from my reference mood boards. The big nostrils were a godsend, the hoodie and singlet really solidified his personality - the singlet doesn't leave much to the imagination, he can wear it up or down depending on the situation, the hoodie can be zipped, unzipped, hood up or down - depending on his attitude in the moment.

At this point I don't really need to comb through his reference anymore - I could drop it all in the trash - but I enjoy drawing guys with big pecs so...
