Hello crew! πŸ˜€Time for that promised post about some of the UI changes I've been making over here at Schloss Labz 🏰 I've actually done rather a lot - advancing the Integrated Walkthrough to the end of the Brig scene, adding new synthetics and aliens to their respective screen, etc. But for now, I'll concentrate on the revamp of the Virtual Stable, and the new Personnel Files! πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ’ΌπŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ’Ό

NB: Spoilers ahead for the two new characters in the update - as well as the current lead in the Captain's Name Contest πŸ˜‰

VIRTUAL STABLE SCREEN:

As you can see, no massive changes - a bunch of new characters have been added (the two new characters and all the cadets from the showerblock scene) to take the list up to 15. You'll only see them in fresh starts - but since I've got a bunch more changes to come next month, I suggest that you don't rush to start over just to fix your saves πŸ˜‰

The big difference is that clicking on the character cards now brings up this:

PERSONNEL FILES:

πŸ˜‚ This is one for the management-game fans out there. As you can see, the new personnel files have a raft of new info and features. At the top you have your Bio, and each sexual act gets logged in Sexual History to 'keep score'. You'll also see an Information section - logging the snippets of important info you gain from speaking to the character. That's not just to help you keep track of the storyline... knowing this info will help you upgrade your relationship and access scenes in future conversations.

There's also the Spank Bank - a scene replay feature similar to the one in Daemonology; and a Gallery you can open by clicking the character portrait:

GALLERY:

NOTE:

You'll see that the central Relationship section of the Personnel File is blank - that's because it's not implemented yet! 😜 You'll also see that this update will only roll out the first 4 characters as a test run before I get started on the others (it's fiddly and rather time-consuming work πŸ˜‚)

Anyway - very interested to hear what you guys think... and this is def the best time to bring up any issues or suggestions! Let me know in the comments below πŸ˜€

love this, looks very neat and clean! The only thing I can think about as suggestion is whether the individual cards may have likes-dislikes of each person and/or relationships between NPCs (X likes Y, dislikes Z). But I don't know if it makes sense mechanics-wise.

P.S.: looking forward to discover what Max, ehm, brings to the (infirmary) table :P

Yeah - I intended to give him one (and his namesake was very eager!) - but I had some issues with morphing the asset. Hopefully the content of the scene will improve your spirits πŸ˜‰
