First off, Yuukis Background with all Details from the Light Novels that they left out in the Anime Adaption: Konno Yuuki was born on May 23, 2010. Due to dystocia, a caesarean section had to be performed, but an accident caused a large amount of bleeding and thus a blood transfusion was given. However, the blood was infected with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), which causes the Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). By the time the virus was detected, the whole family was already infected. Yuuki continued to fight the disease but, during the course of her fourth grade in Elementary School, a group of students found she was a carrier of HIV and started spreading rumors about Yuuki around the school and she was forced to transfer schools. At that moment, Yuuki's immune system began collapsing, and she was hospitalised after contracting pneumocystis pneumonia in 2022. For the next year and three months, she underwent severe procedures to treat the infections her body was no longer able to resist. In February 2023, after contracting esophageal candidiasis, Yuuki received an offer from Doctor Kurahashi to test the first experimental Medicuboid prototype, which had just been completed. Due to the recent occurrence of the Sword Art Online Incident, few people were willing to test the FullDive machine's capabilities, though the requirements of careful maintenance and clean location for the Medicuboid would result in a drastically reduced risk of infection for the patient. ( By the time Yuuki started using the Medicuboid, she had been infected with Cytomegalovirus and nontuberculous mycobacteria ) While Yuuki's family was concerned by the requisite of her constant confinement to a sterile room and inability to interact with anyone, she herself was attracted by the possibilities of the virtual world and agreed to the experiment. During the three years Yuuki spent constantly logged into the machine, her parents died at the end of 2023 and her sister Aiko followed suit in 2024.

Adaption Notes for Episode 21 ---In the novel, Kirito showed Asuna three fingers to indicate that he would keep off the guild for three minutes, instead of shouting it. ---In the novel, two players from the boss clearing guild tried to sneak up on and assassinate Asuna and Siune, but Asuna noticed them and cast Aqua Bind to stop them. Then, after talking with Siune, she finished them off before charging at the rest of the guild. ---In the novel, Asuna was the one who closed the doors to the boss room, instead of Siune. ---In the novel, Asuna deduced the boss's weakness after thinking about Kirito battling The Gleam Eyes, instead of seeing Talken's spear exposing its weakness. Additionally, since she was casting a spell when she deduced the weakness, Asuna accidentally failed the incantation of her spell.

Adaption Notes for Episode 22 ---The scene where Siune tried to give Asuna the promised items for helping defeat the boss and Siune saying that she was planning to disband the guild as well were omitted. ---The scene with Rika and Keiko was not part of the novel. ---In the novel, Kazuto was not working on his probe while waiting for Asuna. ---In the novel, the nurses carefully validated Asuna's identity before informing doctor Kurahashi about her. ---In the novel, Asuna was directed to look for Kurahashi on the 4th floor, instead of being asked to wait on the same floor. ---The mention of how Yuuki's mother's religion and her father helped her overcome her initial crisis was omitted. ---The fact that Yuuki did well at school while her schoolmates did not know about her illness and that her condition worsened after rumours of her illness spread and some of her classmates started discriminating her, forcing her to change schools, was omitted. ---In the novel, Asuna recalled Kirito saying that Yuuki had truly become a resident of the virtual world, instead of her being a product of the FullDive environment.

I already asked her about that when she posted her Schedule at the Start of the Month, she answered to me that i should ask her again if she finishes Season 2 ( Which is this Week) Afterwards for the last Weekend this Month, she also didnt planned to watch SAO, and only at the Start of August to Start Season 3. So we should ask her again when she posts her Episode 23 and 24 Videos.

Oh man, this is so sad, but so good 😢 Continued great voice acting for sure, and I also really appreciate that despite the somewhat limited facial features in this anime’s style, you can still make out subtle changes in emotions like when Yuuki’s face goes from “oh no I can’t do THAT” to “hmm, MAYBE” to “well ok then” all in the time span of only a couple of seconds.
