I’d never heard of the arm crossing before that in the comments. Sounds like some headcanon to me Robin didn’t cross arms in Arabasta at times fighting Pell. I don’t think she did blocking Yama either But even if she used her power I don’t think it would free her from the web since her body is still stuck

it would be really interesting to hear in detail why u think that robin is really strong......i mean against the small fry she is very strong, but i dont see her beating a really strong person......sure, shes really important because she can read the porneglyphs but strong?

dude she can literally snap your back or choke you without moving. It's not really that hard to imagine why someone would think she's strong XD She can make wings or a giant fist out of hands (granted, I think I'm remembering that from a movie so I'm not sure if it's canon but I don't see why it's not possible). Add a little distance and she's untouchable to close-range fighters because she can poke your eyes out or break your neck before you even have the opportunity to start moving towards her

Hi, KT! I loved your reactions today (and your color palette)! Three important things I wanted to tell you (no spoilers, don't worry!): - Regarding your pirate crew: in the Japanese language, a specific voicing-based phonological mutation called "rendaku" happens that would change the spelling of your crew's name to "Nijigami Pirates." When you put two words together into a compound word, often the first consonant of the second word will change, here from k → g. This is why they call him "Akagami no Shanks" for "Red-Haired." The pun with "god" and "paper" still holds, because the same process would happen to those words! - As for Oz vs. Oars, "Oars" is the popularly accepted "official" romanization, and is also used by both the Viz manga and the Japanese-language character data books. Oda hasn't exactly helped settle this debate, because.... he's spelled it both ways with English letters, lol. He's not very good at English, as far as consistency is concerned. - My theory with Robin's powers is that she must cross her arms to activate the ability, whether for a small tickle or a big action, but she must only keep them crossed to help her concentrate on maintaining limbs for the bigger actions. If the action is minimal, she can uncross them. If I'm forgetting some past evidence, please shout!

BTW, leaving aside Robin's power level... Not sure if you noticed, but the last scene of episode 351 is actually the first time Robin addresses the crew (other than Luffy, that is) by their names. Until this point, it was always "doctor" or "long-nose-kun", among some others ("navigator", "cook", etc.). I think it's a nice detail of her finally opening up to the crew.

Episode 350. I think it's more dangerous for Moria and his crew to lock up people than let them escape. Because if they are locked up, there is always a chance that they break out and go after there shadows on the island. But if they are sent to the sea especially the sea wich surrounds Thriller Bark (where there is no sunlight)... There will be less or no chance for them to come back. It's very hard to find his way in this sea and more difficult to find Thriller Bark. You can take Brook as example... He was wandering for years before he found Thriller Bark and it was by luck.

I guess so 🤔 I just thought Luffy, his strongest zombie using his shadow after all, would at least warrant some “protection” or restraint. Especially since they know if Brook came back and caused havoc, chances are Luffy (with his huge bounty) would do the same. And if he happens to die out there without food or proper nutrition (he’s not a skeleton like brook) then Moria’s key to becoming the pirate king is lost

Casting them out to sea around thriller bark will keep them trapped in the florian triangle, covered by dense fog. They wake up in 2 days, during which they'll try and take control of their ship and avoid the sun by staying in the fog.

So funny story, I was curious about page 17 of chapter 456, and it's in the episode. It's actually page 16 that wasn't adapted. I do have a theory for why this is the case. In Viz (and I assume other manga reading sites) you can view the manga 1 page at a time, or 2 pages at a time. 2 pages at a time helps with the double page spreads and is also how you would see the pages if you were holding a physical copy. Undernead the manga pages Viz shows that you're reading pages 16-17. Now if you're rushing through chapters to get info for the wiki and your first language is one that reads left to right, you might mistakenly think that the page on the right is page 17. The page on the right is the one that wasn't adapted, but since in Japanese you read right to left, the page on the right is actually page 16.

Cannot wait for this arc to be over. Most of it is really lame to me ;( And it is very drawn out especially in the first half. A few reactors I watch are up to here now and I am big sad lol Really enjoyed the reactions anyway! People obsessing over power levels in the above comments need to relax a bit. Speculation is fun :) I hope you know your hard work is always appreciated.

thank you! yeah I think people don't realise that how a DF is used (the potential of it's ability) is up to your own imagination so there is literally no "facts". It's all just for fun. So if I think someone is super strong or whatever, I don't really get why that matters so much or why people want to argue differently. Just say who YOU think is the strongest and move along XD I've had fun talking about it with people before in a stream, because no one would use their knowledge of what happens in the rest of the story to argue with me. But yeah, I think some people on here have a hard time not letting their knowledge of the rest of the show influence their opinions/arguments. I think in those cases they need to discuss it in the discord with other fans that are caught up.

One Piece is available dubbed and subbed on Funimation's website and app but only for those located in U.S. and Canada. So, you would need to use a VPN if you're not located in these countries. All of the subbed episodes are free. Dubbed episode require a subscription. I'm not positive because it's been years since I've been on the site as a non-subscriber but I believe like the first 13 or so episodes dubbed are available for free. But I could be wrong. On YouTube I would love to see you go completely legit. By legit I mean everything perfectly legal. And obviously it's a bit complicated as copyright laws are vague and differentiate by country. I do know that Oda does look at legit foreign reactors to gauge how certain scenes are hitting newer One Piece fans. Not so much reactors who are caught up but the ones that are, like you, still many years behind. And it would be so cool if you were one of the reactors he frequents.

Hey Animechan, I dont know if you know this yet, but when this arc was release in the anime, they caught up with the manga. So thats why they had to slow down the pace in the anime, as you obv already recognized, there isnt as much content in one episode than previously

Sadly the pacing issue is a problem in long running anime, and it will not be resolved unless Fuji tv drops the 48 episode/ year formula to a seasonal show formula, which will not happen.
