Such an unexpected duo of characters to be doing again, but the client really liked the first one I did (and they were two different clients), so I got to revisit these two ladies.


I'm slowly but surely learning the painstaking technicalities of perspective; I look at earlier pieces of mine now, and cringe at all the nonsensical, non-converging lines and planes. Of course, I'm sure that in four weeks, I'll look back at this piece and have similar thoughts on ways I've improved... This was a little tricky, because while I knew what the environment was going to look like, roughly, I had to place both figures into the same small environment, in different, specified poses, while still having the perspective and the foreshortening make sense. Technically-speaking, Vivienne's feet shouldn't be that big, considering where the camera is, but who cares, I took some creative liberties.
