Here's another recently-finished commission, featuring Kisala from the action RPG Rogue Galaxy.

I've been playing around with how I do lineart lately, trying to really maximize on more crisp, smooth lines, along with ensuring my image files are on optimal size and resolution settings. I never took any kind of classes or courses on Photoshop, or art in general, so it's always been me learning things as I go along, on how I can achieve the best end result. In this case, I've been experimenting with being a little more lax on my first pass with lineart; I will go over the sketch with a black round brush, but I won't refine too many small details at first. This way, I can determine the forms of the figure with the colors, shading, and lighting, and then, once that is done, I can go in at the end with the lineart brush and touch up those final areas. It makes for a much cleaner looking piece, with more consistency between lineart and the darker shades in the colors.

Let me know what you think in the comments below! I'm still taking a few more August commission preorders while I finish up this last batch, so please reach out if you want to get a commission done. ;D
