I've been wanting to draw her for a while -- thank god for the cosplay guides Respawn puts out! It's a bonus when I can find a high-quality 3d model to manipulate and look at, but the cosplay guide has all the costume parts broken down, which is pretty damn useful. One of the things that takes the most time when doing fanart is just zooming in on pictures and trying to figure out what it is I'm looking at. It bugs me when I see fanart of a character, and the costume details are inaccurate to the point where it's clear the artist took no more than a cursory glance at the character before putting pencil to paper. While I doubt everyone who looks at my fanart would be able to easily pick up on details like that, it makes me feel pretty good when I know that I did my best in getting all those little specifics correct. c:
