kinda weird stream today yall sorry bout that. I tried streaming on youtube at the same time and it didn't really pan out the way i thought it would. maybe we should just stick to twitch. we teased a few albums like Jimin's, Lana's, Fall Out Boy's and the singles we hit were new Dev Lemons, Ed,and new FLO. Let me know in the comments below which one yall were feeling the most. Tomorrow we're hitting Caroline Polacheks album so i hope you can tune in!

2023-04-28 08:48:37 lana’s new album was slightly disappointing for me off the first listen, coming from someone that really loves lana and appreciates her art. i was expecting a bit more of a change up especially after her dropping A&W.. will probably take a few more listens which has been pretty consistent through her most recent work. i think you should start with NFR, really is a phenomenal album. and i think you would really enjoy born to die and ultraviolence.

not sure if someone mentioned it on stream, but lana's new album makes a lot of references to nfr so it might make it more fun to listen to nfr first. that being said, her new album is AMAZING and i'm definitely excited to see your reaction to it asap

The storyline of NFR is heavily connected. For Lana, I recommend going chronologically, her evolution: Born to Die to DYKTATUSB or whatever and if you love that journey Maybe Lizzy Grant which is a questionable honestly experimental piece in a way. Lana's sound is clear but her delivery and production is unpredictable.

Ed wrote his new album in a time when he lost his best friend and his wife was diagnosed with cancer during their second pregnancy all within a month. I agree with you a lot about the how eyes open feels very cookie cutter for him but ngl I teared up listening to the lyrics knowing it was about trying to move on after his friends death. It a sad song that’s upbeat because your trying to be happy and positive but you can’t get passed the fact that person is gone. So you dance with your eyes closed so you can pretend they aren’t there.
