Today is my birthday, and it's hard to believe that I've reached the age of 51. Despite the number of years, I don't actually feel that old. It's been an incredible journey since I left the world of video games seven years ago to fully pursue creating TTRPGs. And these years of complete independence have been nothing short of amazing. In fact, each year is better than the last. 

I owe a great deal of my success to you and the countless Delta Green Agents out there who have embraced the game, dedicating themselves to writing and running thrilling Delta Green campaigns. In a totally selfish fashion, I love reading your recaps, hearing your actual plays, and seeing what you come up with on your own for fan-made Delta Green material. Your support and enthusiasm for my work are like the perfect icing on an already decadent cake. Each day, I find myself marvelling at how fortunate I am to have such an incredible audience.

Thanks to all of you, Delta Green has reached new heights of popularity. It has never been more beloved or widespread, and this achievement is entirely because of your engagement. Some people make games. Fewer people make successful games. But it is a rare thing indeed that people make successful games that people actively and continuously play. Delta Green is one of those games, with more con-games and actual plays than I can keep up with. There is something pure magic of searching YouTube for your book title that you spent YEARS grinding on, only to get 1,000+ hits of people playing it, reviewing it or dissecting its meaning.

I hope to have many more years to keep the horrors churning, goodness knows the new ideas and the urge to create them just won't stop.

Knowing that my creations resonate with you is the most incredible gift I could ever receive.
