Mason/Morgan breathes out a stream of cigarette smoke as they chuckle deeply. “Anywhere away from it.”

“Aw, you don’t mean that, do you?” Felix/Farah asks.

Mason/Morgan rolls their eyes but doesn’t answer.

Felix/Farah answers as silence falls. “My favourite is anywhere that these guys are.”

Nate/Nat grasps a hand to their chest as their eyes glimmer with happy tears. They then wrap an arm about Felix/Farah’s shoulder and hug them into a half-embrace.

Adam/Ava ignores the sweet moment. “The facility is our tactical centre, and it is the safest location for us to be.”

Felix/Farah and Nate/Nat stare over at the commanding agent.

“Really?” Felix/Farah asks.

Adam/Ava thins their lips. “Yes.”

“I didn’t think you could get anymore boring,” Felix/Farah mutters before Nate/Nat sighs.

“I think we all prefer being at the warehouse. It’s our centre now. Where we can all be together and be ourselves,” Nate/Nat states, glancing about everyone in the room.

Eventually, everyone gives genuine nods and murmurs their agreement.
