Busy, busy week! Got so much done and I'm very excited :D
I finished ALL of the pre-made character stuff, stats screen, and recap stuff for Book Three! Was a bit more difficult than I planned but I really pushed forward on it to get it out the way. It's necessary stuff, but not the fun part of actually writing!
But it's all done!
For Book Two pre-made characters, I had a short little bit on the choice about what they were like, but I realised there was going to need to be more detail for people for Book Three as there's more going on. So I went through and added a small summary for each character to give people a better idea of the key decisions and stats of that character.
I also coded in all of my test chracters ready to go. I didn't do this in Book Two and really regeretted it as it took ages to go through making a character just to test. So I was super prepped this time and have added them all in which will make testing much quicker as well as knowing I have the variations in their to check everything as I go.
Putting the Book Two Key Decision page into the stat screen was..interesting. I realised just how many more secret/hidden branches/variables/stats there are in Book Two. That might certainly be a nice surprise for people as the series progresses, hehe ;D
For Curse of Creek Edge, I got another background finished and finally got back to the MC sprite. The variations were getting a bit overwhelming, but I got back on top of it this week and actually think I have too many hairstyles, lol. Might have to look at cutting back on those!
So yeah, a seriously productive week full of good stuff!

For Update+ this week, I thought I would share a moment with Verda...
-
It's easy to forget how slow days can be here when I've been wrapped up in the fast-paced mission with the Agency.
But my long morning is brought to a halt as a knock sounds at the door.
I glance up to find Verda peering through the door. His skin has a grey undertone to it, his eyes weary with fatigue and the hem of his lab coat almost scraping the floor with how sagged his body is. Even his usual smiled greeting is strained.

You may not get this scene dependant on choices, and how you handle this moment will also be a choice!
Hope you all have a wonderful and safe weekend! <3
