Production update 2023-03-30 (Patreon)

Hello everyone!
I hope you had a good week. I had a great time at my brother's place last weekend, and it gave me time to rest my hands. They're not back to 100% yet, but close. I still wear a brace when I use the mouse a lot, but it's gotten a lot better.
So, how's the GoldenEye video doing? Not so well. I shelved it. That's because on a whim, I decided to take on the project of breaking down GreenSuigi's run of 16 star! 16 star has always been on my radar as a perfect candidate for a Speedrun Explained, although I didn't want to go back to Super Mario 64 so soon after the series on the A Button Challenge. But when the opportunity presented itself, right as I was in between projects, to analyze one of the best real-time speedruns ever, I figured I just had to do it now. So I put GE007 on the back burner and I'm doing this one first!
I wrote the script during the past week. I finished it today (aside from a couple of blanks to fill in with exact figures), so I also made the production schedule. Let's look at that!
As you can see, the currently planned release date is May 5th. Also, there's a lot of gray: that's just days when I won't be home or be otherwise able to work. For example, my girlfriend and I are going to New York City for the Easter weekend (mornin Znern). Other stuff include the yearly dentist day and many birthdays.
The script is just over 6000 words long, so expect a video about 45 minutes long: 30 minutes of babbling + 14 minutes for the run. I expect to take about 17 days of editing to get through it, but that is of course subject to change (and rarely for the better...).
So, that's the plan now! I hope you're excited. This run will be a blast to break down to explain all the reasons why people calling it the "perfect" run are completely wrong. There's like 8 seconds to save! It's so easy dude!
Anyway, I guess I don't really have much else to add for now. I'm beginning to record and edit tomorrow. I might post an update before I leave for New York - if I go MIA for over a week, well, guess I didn't after all. I'll see you all next time!
