Hello!

This is my last update before the release of the video. I am working hard on the editing of the final minutes of the video. I've got about 12-14 minutes left to edit and five days to do it.

EDIT: I announced the release publicly! It's Saturday, December 10th, at 4:00 pm ET (21:00 UTC) on YouTube and an hour earlier on Twitch.

Here's the current progress:

And here's the schedule! I'm a little bit behind but not by much. I plan on getting ahead of schedule today in fact. I'm hoping to get Wing Mario over the Rainbow and Shifting Sand Land's remaining A presses done today, which would put be at ~83% done on the editing. I have two more recording sessions which I'll do Monday and Tuesday, and at least 30-35 hours of editing as well, probably 40.

I have just one more thing to mention: I'm going to get rid of my first few Patreon updates. They were in video format, which I quickly realized I couldn't do efficiently. It was taking a lot of time for a garbage result. The main reason why I'm deleting them is because I see unlisted videos, so they, along with a few other unlisted videos from that time, in my YouTube studio, and it's just a lot of clutter. I hope you don't mind losing a few bad updates from 3 years ago.

Screenshots (and a short clip!)

This week was a ton of custom camera work. The TAS is on the J version, so I couldn't use STROOP for custom camera. I had to use a LUA script, which is really cool and has this amazing freeze frame feature, but is a lot less friendly to use. This is one set of points for moving the camera, and there's another set for the focus.

Cool alternative angles to show the treadmill section.

Showing why Marbler needed to set up a smaller bloated bob-omb and 22 VSC for this bob-omb glide.

It's always 1 unit!

One view is a bit more helpful than the other.

IT'S. ALWAYS. ONE. UNIT.

I made a "real" power meter in After Effects using Mario's health variable (which ranges from 255 to 2176) and show that yes, Mario gets down to 1/16 of a health sector, or 1/240 HP.

Showing the 17 trips up and down the clock for this star.

This shot is pretty cool: it lasts 23 seconds and the camera pans 4 different times to show various things.

Nope: the chests don't have proper collision.

Another cool slow panning shot.

This demo of a star dance clip was so hard to make! It uses a hacked flame clone (impossible), a hacked star position (impossible), and hacked initial speed + position (plausible, just annoying). It took me a good 45 minutes to get the ledge grab. It's surprisingly precise. Obviously, none of it matters - everything had to be hacked in since it's a completely impossible scenario.

Finally, a clip! This is a really cool and funny bit of editing magic that I just had to share with you guys.

That's it! Thank you for your support and I hope you are ready for the FINALE OF THE ABC SERIES!!!
