HF Patch for KK/KKP v3.30 (mods up to 2024/07/23) (Patreon)

An unofficial patch for Koikatu and Koikatsu Party that installs the latest fan-made English translations and essential mods. It also fixes many common issues with the game. It will allow you to load all character cards and scenes and give you countless content creation and gameplay improvements.

Read the full HF Patch manual to learn more about what it is, what it does, how to use it, and how to solve common issues.

Koikatsu is split into two parts: character and scene creation tools (character maker and Studio), and an adventure game with story mode (it can use your custom characters, but not scenes). You can see preview videos of the game and some of the mods here.

HF Patch does not contain the full game, paid expansions or any other pirated content. You have to buy the game and expansions separately.

The base game (Koikatu / Koikatsu Party), and by extension this patch are not suitable for minors. If you are under 18 years old you can not use this patch. The base game and this patch contain only characters of age 18 or higher. The creator of this patch is not responsible for creations of its users and prohibits any unlawful use of this software.

Downloads

This download contains the entire HF Patch and can be used offline. You can use qBittorrent or a similar torrent client to open the magnet link. Old patch versions are available in direct download links.

Full patch (Everything is included, most people should use this)

Light patch (Small size, only use if you regularly update with KKManager)

Read before installing

  • This patch works fine with After Party, just reinstall the patch after installing the DLC. It does NOT work with Koikatsu Sunshine - use the KKS HF Patch instead.

  • Before installing check this installation guide and FAQ.

  • If you have problems with installing the patch, check the solutions to common issues and the rest of the readme.

  • If you need any further help check the wiki first, and if that doesn't help then ask in the #help channel of the Koikatsu Discord server. The #help channel is the fastest way to get help, you can even search it for your issue to see if someone already answered it. There are also chat and card sharing channels on the server!

  • To keep the download size reasonable, some rarely used and very old content mods might not be included. If you have trouble loading characters or scenes, you can download the missing mods by clicking on the Update button in the game's launcher.

Does anyone know how to alter what accessories we want when loading an outfit? Ever since I installed the new HF patch, the accessories for outfits are greyed out and I can't pick which ones I want or not. (ex: can't choose to not include the 'empty' slots when loading an outfit).

Hey ManlyMarco I want to recommend something not suggest but recommend. you should keep around previous versions of KK around since the sometimes updated version you post tend to ruin the game for some people. Unfortunately I forgot to back up the last version and now stuck with new problems because of the update. What I really recommend is before you post the update you should have multiple people update there versions and see if other people have the same problem or different ones.

Updates are tested before being released but it's impossible to ensure that it works for everyone, especially when you add your own mods outside of the patch. Old version of the patch are available in the direct download page and old torrents are all listed in github releases.

Hello, after applying the HF patch, when I add mods to the KK manager (mainly animations), the upper input is automatically entered in the middle of the mod. As a result, when I select a map in FreeH, it is inputted up by itself, so I cannot select the map and the game is forced to terminate. Please let me know if you know anything about this.

I assume you ran the mod updater at an unfortunate time. Remove "mods\Sideloader Modpack - Maps\Tsuna\[Tsuna] Kamisato House v1.0.zipmod" if you have it.

Just wondering, if I update regularly with the Updater, do I need to download this pack? Also, with more mods, the game starts more slowly by time. Is there a way to search for unused mods and put them aside :D ?

Make sure you put all of the parts into the same folder and that each file still has its original name, they might be renamed by whatever you use to download.

But I see in the images from this post that you get to visit different scenes, are these like dates? Can I access them while playing? Or are they some sort of extra content out of the main game. I have a question. I just updated from v3.16 to 3.20 yesterday and i love it. But the only exception is I can feel that the movement animation in H scene is faster than usual? You just need an "After School" DLC or "After Party" if you play in steam version. This DLC will allow you to have a date event with your girlfriend outside the school. along with new H maps. But you don't have to buy it from steam you can just fine it for free from the internet (If you want). In addition, you may have to wait a Koikatsu Sunshine , I expect it would be released on stream in October of this year (It just my expect). I hope this will help you. :D

Greetings. Update to version 3.21 from 3.18 and now during an H scene and in story mode, the option to use the hands and kiss is disabled, the hands and the lips icon do not appear anywhere. Please help. And that there is no extra mod.

Problem solved, I only reinstalled the HF patch, but without enabling the VR option, the strange thing is that I had always installed all the patch updates with that option enabled. (In case one day, I bought that device).

It's unlikely that disabling VR was the solution since it didn't change between patch versions, most likely just the act of reinstalling the patch and/or rebooting the pc fixed it.

Yes, but you do not need most of them if you don't use studio. You only need the basic Sideloader Modpack and the animations one for main game and maker.

Why is an error displayed after launching the .exe file. I bought the game from steam. The problem it shows is it looks like a different game is installed to the selscted directory. This patch can only work on koikatsu. Make sure you selected the correct directory. Ifyou installed 2 games to the same directory you will have to reinstall them both to separate directories to fix this. How to solve this problem?

hy marco, before the next patch.... sry to ask but can you please just copy SOME script from "Studio KKPE - Swap Pose" into "Studio KKPE - Copy Right/LeftHand" , this issue has been lingers for so long that it starts to irritating. Swap Pose swap everything correctly but , copy r/l hand/arms wrongly the finger rotation axis, i believe it just Y and or Z axis issue, and could be easily copypaste or taken from the swap pose. Thank you in advance, really appreciate it.

What error exactly are you getting and at what point? If it's during the verification step then try downloading the broken part from a different mirror and/or use a different web browser. If it's after verification, send a screenshot to the help channel on the discord server.

Just let the game load for a couple of minutes the first time. The slower the disk the longer it will take.

I really need some help. I just moved all my character cards from Koikatsu Party to Koikatsu Sunshine , The transfer went well. But all character cards has been removed from my Koikatsu Party , Yep it all gone. And it my own mistake for not save my work before the transfer. The thing is, I can't move any character cards back to my old Koikatsu. I really put it in the folder but it doesn't appear in the game. Do you have some solutions or any suggestions?

Hi, May I ask how the KK_subtitle works? in config it said and have translation in "Translation/KK_subtitle". but it also said it a xml file. how it work ?

In KK subtitles are pulled from the game itself and translated by AutoTranslator+ResourceRedirector like the rest of the game. The only subtitles in the xml file (which is included inside the compiled dll) are the character maker lines and can be translated with AutoTranslator as well.

I'm trying to install the 3.23 Patch, but it keeps telling me that it needs the next disk and want's me to insert disk 1, but I have KK on Steam. I tried selecting the Koikatsu Party folder, but it says that the bin can't be located. Am I doing something wrong here? I installed a pmx plugin (downloaded full patch v3.24) and when I booted up character studio it says “Plugin [PMXExporter 1.2 targets a wrong version of BelpinEX (3.2.0.0) and might now work until you update”. I am not asking you to try this. But I allowed it, went through with install. After completion I deleted all the files from the HF folder you create to make it work and removed Trojan from the allowed threats. I am now scanning everything. Pray for me. lol. As for the question, since (madevil.kk.ass) was found, if the accessory option is disabled, it comes up and the accessory is loaded in duplicate with the original accessory without materialeditor being reflected. What kind of plug-in is this plug? I'd like to get rid of it if possible.

in an older version it was possible to customize accessory states for multiple clothing parts (i.e you could hide an anklet with both socks and shoes or being able to change hair accessories based on clothes state) but now that doesn't seem possible with the new way its designed. is that an oversight or am I just missing something because the new UI is pointlessly more complex now? Since the old one worked just fine and was really easy to understand it feels kind of weird that would be changed. I was previously using 3.14 if that info helps

maybe I installed it wrong or missed something, but the new plugin just seems to be a way to make the text on the old plugin bigger/smaller. while it's nice to be able to read it without my face right up against the screen, it still doesn't solve the problem of being unable to customize accessory states for multiple clothing parts on the same accessory. was the reason the one that used to be there removed because it clashes with other plugins? because it was immensely superior and much more user friendly, so I don't get why it else it would have been swapped. I'd get an either/or situation, but complete replacement just seems odd. Again, maybe I'm just not using it or installing it right. If so, advice would be appreciated

While I finally figured out how to customize accessory states for multiple clothing parts on the same accessory with the newer mod, it's a lot more time consuming and harder to keep track of because it requires a whole web of lines. or rather, I was able to use it, but now half the top of it is off the screen so I can't move it onto the screen making it very difficult to use, and impossible to close. restarting the game has not solved this, nor has reinstalling the hf patch.

Are you using clean HF Patch or did you make any changes? They should still be under system and anim/chara menus. Check if there are any errors or warnings on screen at game start. Ask about it on the discord server in the #help channel.

You can put the installation files wherever you want, as long as it's not inside the game directory. When installing the patch then select the same game directory.

I do have a request, and naturally you don't have to do it. However, I was thinking that it would be natural for a girl to have different hairstyles depending on outfit type, but as far as I know as of right now when you set the hairstyle it sets it across all of the outfits. When I think about it though, when I make a character with long hair it would make sense for me to be able to set it to be in a ponytail when she is at gym for example, but to be down with casual, afterschool, and sleeping over, for example. I'm not sure what that would take to implement, but it seems like a great way to add a lot of customization to how a character appears throughout the day and in different situations. Do you think that is something that is possible? Obviously I'm not expecting this to happen overnight, or even within a couple of months, since I wouldn't know how to do it in the first place. Edit: Also when it comes to requests or ideas, do you prefer them in a comment like this? Or as a pm on discord? For future reference.

You can already do this, many custom cards have different hair styles per clothing set. You have to use accessory hair instead of normal hair, there are some guides on the discord server or you can download some cards and see how it's done.

Hi, I've downloaded the HPpatch v3.8 with mediafire and have it in my downloads folder, I've moved it around but still unable to extract the .exe. gettng Verification failed and it says cannot find file KK_HFP_38.7z.001, can't figure this out. I tried the other 2 links but no joy there at all and I don't do torrents. I'll be okay once I open it, just stuck at the moment. running latest windows, any adviced will be a blessing as my brain hurts lol

Do you know what may be causing several clothes and some hairs to not be displayed in-game? They show up fine in character creation and even appear during H scenes but during the game while walking through school all of these will disappear causing characters to appear half naked or bald. This is only the case for some of the mod clothes and hairs.

Make sure showing all accessories is turned on in game settings, and that high poly mode is turned on in plugin settings. Both of these will drastically increase system requirements when there are many characters though.

The latest update is not working for me. When I load the confirm in VR I am in a white bubble I can walk out of and see the character facing the bubble. The pointers will turn on but the menus will not. Can not switch between Action, move, or system. Can not exit. Uninstalled and Reinstalled game. Worked without mods. HF Patch Setup takes so long, it gives me an error : the file is corrupted. can i skip the sideloader modpack. i've been installing this for 4 hours and need to wait for the message to skip the corrupted part 1 by 1. Currently i have found 26 zipmods from xm007 and xna with corruption error. Edit: I restarted my pc, extract the hf patch batch file with 7zipninsted of using the exe., Move out the old sideloader folder, and reinstalled the HF Patch. It works now 😲

It sounds like something is very wrong with your game. Make sure your game files are not corrupted and reinstall the patch with default settings + turn on removing old plugin config. Check the wiki for more info, or ask on the discord server if nothing helps.

Hi, I just tried to install HF 3.10 patch and towards the end of the installation, I am getting a message. "An error occurred while trying to copy a file: The source file is corrupted." I think the new version of KK_PregnancyPlus is more difficult to use than before, it's more difficult to get the perfect belly curve than before. There was also a bug in the Studio that caused the names of all characters with English names to not be read correctly.

Woah, I installed this latest update and half my girls' heads disappeared! They still got faces but the hairs are gone, I guess. I think some of those mods your updater deleted are still needed. I mean, I can go in and put proper hair back on the victims but its a real pain in the butt!

Make sure the force high poly setting is turned on. If hair disappears in maker and studio then try rebooting and then reinstalling the patch. If you get missing mod warnings then check for updates in kkmanager.

For CzAdd_FK_node, is there (or would it be possible to add) a hotkey to toggle it on/off easily? I use FK mode often, and would like the extra options occasionally, but having it constantly is kinda annoying. Especially since it has at least one overlapping node with the elbows. D:

You have to remove the game folder after uninstalling it from Steam or there will be leftovers from the patch and your user data like cards. Uninstalling the game will break the game, yes. You don't have to uninstall the patch, just remove the directory.

Hi, this is my first but uh, how do I update my last patch? I just bought KK a few days ago (January 2nd, I think) and I installed the previous HF patch on that same day. I downloaded the 16GB version, and updated the mods which was 35GB, but now this dropped. How do I update the patch? I just run the installer exe and that'll do it? Yes, just install the latest patch and it will figure itself out. If you updated sideloader modpacks then you can use the light patch for a smaller download.

After Downloading 3.14 patch, all of the H-scenes wouldn't play (in game and extras), I tried the light and the full version ran with default settings KK manager is up to date nothing worked, went back to 3.12 and everything worked properly again. Is there anything you'd recommend?

This might be unrelated to the HF patch and should belong to the KKManager but regardless; When I update the mods using the KKManager for the first time after a clean install, it throws out a bunch of mods without replacing them with newer versions. Is this intentional? Seems like a waste for perfectly good mods. :D

The way it is now is it removes first and downloads new later. If there were no new to download, they might have been moved to a different modpack, for example to one exclusive for one game, or they might have been merged or obsoleted by a different mod. First game start after updating can take a while. If it doesn't load after a few minutes and there's no disk activity then try rebooting the PC and reinstall the patch.

I don't understand why you removed the clothing mix mode switch (the V1/V2 drop-down bar), it is very practical and convenient, and can help me reduce many clothing wear problems. The magnet link does nothing when clicking "add torrent" in utorrent, 2/3 of the download links didn't actually download the whole thing for whatever reason, and the 3rd said something about a corrupted bin when I ran the .exe Not sure what's going on or if anyone else has had this issue

I was in HF patch v3.13. After running HF Patch v3.15 (using the full patch), some characters got the error "missing zipmod . Some items are missing - com.gf.collection.ver120. I ran KK Manager and does have [GF] Character Texture Pack v1.7.3. Any idea if I miss something? Edit: I tried turning General - Material Editor - cf_O_eyeline_low - Shadow Casting Mode to "Shadow only" and the character no longer has raccoon eyes. Still appreciate it if someone knows what mod is missing.

All mirrors and the torrent all look to be working fine. Try using the latest qBittorrent instead for the magnet link. If you already downloaded parts of it, you can point qBittorrent to the folder with the files so you don't have to redownlad everything (remember to force check files).

What do you mean "to all more girls"? I don't think any feature used I and U in this or the previous patch. Maybe you've added a plugin outside of that, in that case it'll be in the plugin backup in game directory.

I'm having issues with the Slide unlocker for breast size, I was wondering how I fix it? The issue being any time I put the slide near or past 200 each breast begins inverting into an hourglass look with a broken texture. Is this a limit to the patch? I've seen examples where the bust size can go just about anywhere near the floor without glitching out. Maybe they're using a different mod?

Edit: Well it doesn't happen when I don't use the partial load window, but is there anyway to get it to work? You can add however many paints you want with a body overlay, just put them all on the overlay in an image editor or paint them on in any texture painting app.
