So had some suggest about a collecting system similar to Sonic's Rings & Mario's Coins. I honestly not sure about it cause of the type of game Wrapturous Adventure is. Like sure Sonic and Mario don't pick up the items, but my mind feels like that is sort happens so having some item get collected by Yui feels jarring. Sure I can try and create some story reason why they just magically get collected by Yui and maybe they server a purpose in the game, but honest I feel like it might clash with the game.

I will say that it can work as an unlockable game mode, but as being a part of the main campaign I am unsure. So I ask give the demo with the coin system a go and provide your feedback on it.

I agree with you. Don't believe that fits with this game. The scarabs giving her good vibrations are much more fitting. Now an idea that may work is a swarm of bugs that you could find in the grass or some kinda of creature you get from the tar could provide a boost to speed or a debuff as she is motivated by the sting or slowed down by distractions around her intimate areas. Also would allow for animations of how these bugs effect her.

I agree with Starkselle! The bugs work so well because they match the themes of the game. In a mechanical sense since Yui can't physically pick them up (being all wrapped up) and thematically, because she has to make herself vulnerable (by moaning) to attract them, and the moment of panic as she feels them crawl in.

Coins where mostly for testing, but I actually came up with an idea on what they can be, what use they have, and even what they'll be called. I'll probably make a post in the next day or two to tell my idea

A fan

Not a fan of the coins. If it needs to be part of the game, then may be something like trinkets or pieces of slabs that altogether create a picture? Something that helps players remember that the place hasn't been explored yet.

Mostly just went with coins cause they were easy to make for testing it out in the game. I am leaning on a concept that I'll probably explain in a future post.
