In this episode of Best of the Blurst, the gang pays tribute to b-movie veteran Albert Pyun. He's made post apocalyptic movies. He's made cyborg movies. He's made post apocalyptic cyborg movies. He's done it all!

I wished you guys had watched Mean Guns. I watched Cyborg as a kid in the late '80's and it's great and hold up. But man, Mean Guns is one of the best late '90's DTV action films.

Thanks guys, this was really fun!

Rhea

This was great you guys. I hope Pyun gets to see it. Happy Thanksgiving, and I hope you're feeling better Mike!

It was an immensely funny and surprisingly moving episode.

Jeremy Ross

Loved the episode! Get well soon, Mike!

Katy

Thank you boys, for doing this good-hearted thing. Safe passage to you, Albert.

Simia Canis

Pyun also directed "Alien from L.A." with Kathy Ireland. It was a great MST3K episode.

Marvin Falz

Happy belated Thanksgiving to you all. :)

Kellic

You got Pyuned....I want a t-shirt of that. Only certain people would ever get it.

Manuel Johnen

R.I.P. Albert Pyun... :(

I'm surprised that Full Moon hasn't been featured more in BotW. It was definitely a big part of my adolescence renting those shitty shitty movies. I would love to see more of their stuff show up. Charles Band put out a memoir last year called "Confessions of a Puppetmaster", which was really fascinating. He has had a really interesting life.

This VR game looks about as immersive as Knightmare. If you’re not familiar with this UK children’s tv show from the late 80s, you need to look it up. You may of course have had a version of your own over there but you’ve not referenced it so far so I guess not.
