You sad, sad, beautiful bastards. We watched this recently on our drunken movie night... it was rough!

I like the reboot toxic waste origin story. I will also accept someone coming across the weird science movie computer and inserting the cards into the machine thinking it's like some sort of counterfeiting machine. They try to capitalize off nostalgia and get more than they bargained for.

Wait. We need more backstory on Jay and the Home Alone Mansion! Please!

As a 90s baby I also remember growing up with the trend of kid’s pop culture ips from my generation getting a movie version called “the movie” the only one that was really any good was The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. Somewhat ironically the one with the way of doing that kind of title that sounds more awkward.

I coerced my mom to take me to see this at the mall in Phoenix when it

You should call her and thank her again for taking such good care of you....

I appreciate your noting of Anthony Newley's career. Six minutes into the video, I was like "Wait! Anthony Newley was in this piece of garbage?" This isn't y'all's usual BotW fare but he did a semi-autobiographical movie called "Can Heironymus Merkin Ever Forget Mercy Humppe and Find True Happiness?" Starring/directed/co-written by. The difference between the usual vanity projects is that Mr. Newley is actually talented and he got talented people to be in it. His then-wife Joan Collins appeared in it and she cited the movie as contributing to the divorce. (I've not seen the thing and it may be a slog? Ebert liked it!)

The only way to remake a Garbage Pail Kids movie is to make it look exactly as the illustrations in the cards.

Any plans for a Half In The Bag of The Banshees of Inisherin?

Anyone else remember the toy 'Slime'? It was a little green trashcan that had slime in it. It was clean slime, but it looked like green snot.

Oh wow, I do. Didn't it come with a junky little plastic toy inside, too?

David Dean

Yeah maybe. I can't find anything on the internet about it, but it was around the same time as the Garbage Pail Kids cards.

Dean??

I consider myself a connoisseur of cringe… but The Garbage Pail Kids movie is too much even for me.
