Hey everyone! I think we have pretty much our entire month of November already in the works! Right now we're editing a re:View for the cinematic masterpiece that is The Garbage Pail Kids Movie from 1987. It's a little bit different of a type of movie for re:View but hey, there's a ton to talk about with it. We're also working on a Half in the Bag for Barbarian finally! In addition to those, our special guest that we had to postpone last month should hopefully be coming back soon, in which case we'll be doing a Wheel of the Worst as well as a re:View for the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. We've also been slowly working on another one-off project in the background that may or may not be done in December, but we'll see. It's kind of a mini documentary. Sort of. But there will be updates on that when it's closer to being finished.

As Ash Williams would say, "GROOVY."

Dane Liergaard

If the re:View is on TMNT, my prediction of the guest is Freddie Williams.

I am 98% sure the director of Barbarian is a big fan of a certain movie you guys covered on BotW. Twice. Kinda.

Sounds like some good times to be had. And also, a conversation about "Garbage Pail Kids" will be available.

Oh man oh man I hope the special guest is either Freddy or Colin! They're both hilarious, though Colin's contributions to other videos (especially his raising a tape from the dead with rare maple syrup, which continues to be one of the most discussed topics in the entire worldwide scientific community) may put him at the top.

Are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or The Garbage Pail Kids Movie worth watching in advance of the videos? I've heard bits and pieces but they're both pretty far from what was popular in my circles.

Cameron Kilgore

I actually liked the TMNT movie but I was a bab when I saw it. Not sure if it holds up as an adult. I also think the turtles are just played out at this point. No disrespect to Freddie.

Agree with the sentiment on the first TMNT movie. Wasn't a fan of the others. I loved the the TMNTs in general as a kid and my older brother put the first movie on VHS for me, so I watched it a lot.

Oh wow. Garbage Pail Kids was the first film I ever showed others specifically for how "bad" it is. It was also, sadly, a favorite as a kid.

The new documentary, I wonder if its something that finishes off a sequel trilogy. hmmmm

Eric Anderson

The first turtles movie is great. A kids movie that adults can enjoy, too in my opinion. I’d say they’re both worth watching if you’re a fan of full costume animatronics. The turtles were created by the Jim Henson Creature Shop and are masterfully done. The GPK ones are… interesting.

Any chance for a Josh and Jay Re:View of the Weird Al “biopic”?

Hoss

Really hope they go into what Zach Cregger did before Barbarian because the contrast is just so high

Kellic

I would think that would be more a Half in the Bag at this point but yea. Considering it sounds like Jay liked it.

I watched Barbarian the other day. I went in as blind as possible as everyone recommends online. I noticed it said rated R for violence, gore, and nudity. My thought was poor ‘Tess’ having to get nude for totally pointless reasons, but the real reason that label is there took me quite by surprise.
