The omega variant saga comes to a close. It’s about family, and that’s what’s so powerful about it

Anonymous

Anonymous

You’re turning us into monsters

Anonymous

Did you watch it on Peacock plus extra streaming?

Anonymous

Red letter media in October is always awesome.

Can't wait for the review! I CLAPPED WHEN I SAW IT I CLAPPED!!!

Anonymous

Sunblaze

Anonymous

I was hoping this was going to happen.

Anonymous

I look forward to a more entertaining review than the movie I haven't seen.

Peter Varga

a rare case where i'm not going to watch the movie before the review.

AshesBoomstick

Cool. I guess. I mean, I saw the movie. Ugh. :D

Michael Nuccio

Surprised not to see Candyman!

Anonymous

I just saw the ad for this and thought "Wasn't this already out? I could have sworn I saw Jay mocking this retconning the whole series and gray Jamie Lee Curtis attacking Mike Meyers..."

Tony P.

Damn, you guys have been "killing" it lately. Yeah, I'm embarrassed of that joke.

Anonymous

Whom does it kill?

Anonymous

What a baffling movie. I still don't know if I liked it for it's bizareness or hated it. Except for almost everything in the hospital. I definitely hated that.

Anonymous

Prediction. Someone will joke (probably Mike), “Halloween Kills? More like Halloween Blows.”

Anonymous

It is truly the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.

Rhea

Okay but Midnight Mass tho

Watching Halloween Kills tonight and my expectations are low but always excited for a HITB!

Neil Peart, Lord of Drums

The only HITB I can think of where I did watch the movie before the review is Malignant. They talked up how ridiculous and crazy it was, I have HBO, and I just said, "fuck it." So glad I did. I enjoyed the hell out of that ridiculous pile of...shit? Brilliance? Shitty brilliance? Something like that

Neil Peart, Lord of Drums

Watching Rich make a fireplace was pretty damn amazing. I'm happy to know that some small amount of my money helped buy the foam-cutting tool that made Rich's job 100 times easier. I was serious when I said you guys need to start a new channel where Rich becomes the new Bob Ross (of set building. And with a lot more jokes about farts, suicide, and puns. And a lot less hair).

Anonymous

Wow, Halloween Kills was severely incompetent. It makes Malignant a cohesive, purposeful masterpiece by comparison. This was a Blumhouse blunder, wasn't it?

Anonymous

If you've watched Halloween 5 and 6 many times and own them many times on DVD and BluRay, well than Halloween Kills is a much better movie to watch. I mean Michael is more Jason V in the new movies, a killing machine. Real Michael likes to take his time with his victim -- more a one on one guy. But in the new movie he's more like John Wick. Still fun to watch. And a few of the kills make me laugh out loud.

Anonymous

Oh boyyyyyyyy can’t wait

Anonymous

didn’t even know that movie came out

Anonymous

I love that there is a Vampire Assassin on the floor

meghan scullion

October is such a fun month for all.

damien glenn

I would love a Midnight Mass review. Mike Flanagan is busy making all this spun gold while other people are just spinning dookie.

Anonymous

thank god was desperate for a HITB on Halloween kills

Anonymous

Wow, really love what Mr. Plinkett has done with the place!

Marvin Falz

I really dig these colors the lights are shining on the set. They remind me of the vibrant coloring of the original Star Trek. And speaking of which, I recently watched From Russia With Love. There's a scene where Bond and Romanova meet in a hotel room. When they're shown in close-ups, they look soft, slightly out of focus, exactly like the Joan Collins character in The City on the Edge of Forever. It was fascinating to discover the same camera technique in a Bond movie from 1963.

Anonymous

I LOVED Halloween Kills. Wasn't as good as Halloween 2018 (Which I call Halloween The Halloween) but still enjoyable. And 1000%X better than 5, 6 and Resurrection.

David S

I gotta sign up for peacock premium now for one month just to see this review with full context.

Anonymous

Wife and I saw it, and it was ok. Glad I didn't go to the theatres for it.

Anonymous

VERY COOL!

Ian Stewart

I cannot even begin to express how much I hated this movie.

Anonymous

What a giant pile of horse shit

CosmicTrashPanda

Yeah this one deserves the full HITB treatment. Ugh.

Anonymous

i've ONLY watched the teaser trailer and it looked like a pile of trash

Manuel Johnen

Oh, is the fuckin' TWELFTH "Halloween" movie not up to the standards of you keyboard critics...? :P

schopi

Would be better off in a BOTW.........

Anonymous

Btw I have no interest in watching the movie but I will enjoy the HiTB nonetheless!

Anonymous

I get more and more angry the more and more I think about it

Halloween Kills the Franchise

DonMac

Looking at the Halloween franchise, I recently realized that John Carpenter has been directly involved with creating the soundtrack music for 6 of them (the original, part 2, part 3, 2018, Kills, and the next one) even though he's only directed just the first one.

Anonymous

What struck me is just how goofy this movie felt compared to the last one.

Anonymous

SPOILERS——— (For the hospital scenes) Like the interactions between lauries family? Or when the angry mob chased the crazy dude around the hosptial?

Anonymous

I’m glad they just announced the prequel trilogy. So excited! We finally find out which bank the Meyers family financed through aaaaand how Laurie Strode got into babysitting!! Finally!

Anonymous

So did COVID delay this review for a year, like it did the movie?

Anonymous

New HITB and Halloween BOTW are both on the editing table. Please my keyboard cant handle this much drool

Hey guys I would love some help! I have a moment from an RLM video seared in my mind. I need help finding it! They are discussing a horror film.. I know Jay is in the episode.. but don’t know if it’s half in the bag or ReView. But they cut to a shot from an older film that is also a horror film. The shot is stuck on what looks like a living room with multiple shelves and cabinets. Then out of nowhere something jumps out of one of the cabinets and starts running towards the camera unexpectedly. If someone could point me towards that episode that would be awesome!

Dominic O'Neill

Halloween Kills worked for me in the cinema, I really enjoyed it. But the more I thought about it the next day, the worse it got so I've stopped thinking about it too much. It's not a disaster by any means, but is there anything a Halloween sequel can do in 2021 that isn't going to suck? 2018 worked as a way to hit the reset button, but they could only do that once.

Anonymous

I believe youre referring to the re:view for suspiria when they mention deep red and show the scene when the doll breaks out the closet towards the camera. Sound right?

Anonymous

Yeah its almost a star wars/force awakens situation but in this case i like to think this is a more solid followup than last jedi. And i enjoyed last jedi

Anonymous

Sometimes... dead is better.

lights in just the right spots. well played sirs

Yngwie Tarantino

Poochie, near the fireworks factory

Manuel Johnen

Well, I just saw it... ... ... ehm, gonna have to eat my words when the HITB is up... :P

Manuel Johnen

Well... "Halloween Kills" would have sucked considerably less, if it had something at least resembling a story or plot... :P

Ian Stewart

I neeeeed this!

Sidenote: I've written about the still of this year's BotW Halloween set https://www.patreon.com/posts/set-pics-57398739 , that the geometric arrangement of the chairs make the image look pleasing to the eye. Here in this picture of the HitB set, I can also see a geometric shape (a triangle whose lines start at the left and right edges at the bottom of the image and end at the door), but the shape doesn't make the chaos of all the stuff that's lying around and the set destruction look pleasing to the eye. But the shadows give the set more depth and make it more mysterious and frightening. I'm so frightened! Boooooooooo!
