The return of the Studio script farming system of the 1950s-60s must mean we're just a decade or so away from a 1970s-esque New Wave of creative filmmakers and lesser studio interference! Of course first the Studio System needs to more or less collapse under its own weight. and that'll never happen. Right?

But they're ABSOLUTELY right! It's now the 'norm' for the 'PROPERTY' to be the draw for the movie, and the studios can cast more or less anyone they want, and it probably won't have much impact on how profitable the movie is... 'Movie Stars' don't really exist anymore, and have NO POWER, since it's now the Property that is the draw, and not the actor... So now the Studios have all the 'power' again, knowing they can produce their new Superhero movie using any actors, and it'll make little to no difference to their earnings...
