This is sort of fun. While editing my Star Trek Picard review and going through old TNG episodes, I noticed this little gem. During a semi-tense view screen chat with an armed Romulan Warbird Patrick Stewart either had a long day or just woke up. He tries to stay awake and his eyes wander off for a second wondering when this God Damn take will be over so he can get some coffee. It's subtle, but you can tell he's only half-paying attention as this lady stumbles through her boring lines. Ahhhhh, TNG in HD.

Ha! Awesome. Than you for sharing this, Mike! This is hilarious.

Clearly an early sign of his irumodic syndrome, or as they called it on Picard for us dum-dums, his “brain irregularity”.

"I'm not in this shot, am I?"

I just wanna say, being a successful and lauded stage and screen actor is a hard and thankless but necessary job. - Sincerely, a nurse during the worst pandemic in a hundred years.

Yeah, the final review of Picard is on the way! You know, I really liked the show despite its flaws up until the finale. Now, I never, never want to watch the 8 first episodes. Never again!

Oh hi Mike!

David Perek

I recommend watching a few works Patrick Stewart was clearly really interested to act in and then directly go back and watch a few of the best TNG episodes, and you'll see he was checked out half the time. Not Daisy Ridley in Episode IX level checked out, but probably at 50% of his full powers.

You can change the chapter you can change the book, But the story remains the same if you'd take a look.

I’m so keen for this review

I’m so excited for this review! I really appreciate all of your trek content. When I was 9 TNG was my favorite show. I loved trek so much for my 17th birthday I snuck into the Star Trek bar in Vegas so I could get a photo with Harry Kim. No one I knew liked trek like I did so I never really got to be a part of a trek “community” and even though these videos are a small part of what you guys do they are amazing! Thank you for all of your hard work :)

I miss TNG. I'll always miss TNG. Back in HS (which definitely wasn't in the 90s for me...really, I swear) I watched it twice a day--after school and again around midnight when reruns were played. For the latter, I'd have to sneak downstairs and cover myself and the TV in a blanket and turn the volume down so I could barely hear it. Like another patron, I didn't have friends who watched it. And if my fundamentalist family caught on to what TNG was all about, I wouldn't have been able to watch it after school. TNG was one of the few things that made sense to me during that time; it definitely helped me stay sane, much like RLM has done for me over the past year. I often listen to you guys while I'm working. Okay, enough of that. That's my one internet comment this year and you hack frauds get it. Can't wait for the next Picard review .

Mike - another good one to check out is the scene right after the opening titles of Time's Arrow part 1 - in engineering their is a long take discussing Data's severed head - Data mentions that Lore has a type L whatever, and Data has a type R - Picard/Stewart exclaims: "TYPE R!!!???" - I think he may have forgotten his line or something, his reaction makes no sense and is hilarious

I remember sometimes I’d get home from school and take a nap on the couch. I’d wake up to either TNG or Full House. Full House I’d come to immediately annoyed and I’d leave the room. TNG, I’d sit and watch, intrigued by whatever moral dilemma they were trying to solve, constantly wondering why they let a child on the bridge.

Maybe he had really dry eyes? (California is brutally dry ;))

Obviously his artificial heart was running low.on power sending him onto congestive heart failure. Lethargy and sleepiness is an early sign
